The Warrior's Way (2010)
Action and diverse Cast
First. Quite Violent.
Nice to see Ti Lung - Chinese Kung Fu superstar from the 70 -80's . His style and films set the standard for Kung Fu films. Here he has cameo.
Kate Bosworth shines as the sexy hero done wrong and survives to exact vengeance.
South Korean actor Jang Dong-Gun as the stoic martial arts master of the sword, plays it cool like a western gunfighter who prefers his steel sword to be silent , quick and deadly.
Really Great Action Film full of detailed color and extreme violence. Suffering and battle.
If i describe this film as blend of cinema cliches
it would be old western gun fight meets Shaw brothers kung fu at the old Circus.
One of the most diverse casts of the kung fu meets west action dramas.
The Western Cowboys are both good and evil here, Geoeffry Rush and Danny Huston provide the balance of light and dark.
The Cinematography here is so very detailed it almost gives you the feeling of being there.
Plenty of special effects to add detail to all the bloody fighting yet not overdone.
The stunt-work here is worth the watch.
With lots of action in wide and close video.
Will watch more than once to catch all the detail.

Gong Fu Drama Excellent
This Wuxis Novel Style TV series is great on many levels. Filmed in Mandarin Chinese with clear english subtitles.
The cast has some charisma and real connection.
Set in Ancient China, the feel of this production
is authentic, not perfect and too clean. This has the ability to take you into the world of Wuxia,
gong fu and sword play. Little use of special effects and great acting, really makes this TV series a star in my collection. I can watch again and again.
An excellent story made into a classic series.
The struggle to find yourself in a world of hypocrites is proven to be a timeless effort.
If you like Chinese Drama and Gong Fu - then this is a must watch.
40 episodes.
