Arkansas (2020)
A beautiful mess
This film is not terrible but it's dialogue tries to be more intelligent than the film content. The 90's retro feel is good but clearly put together by people who don't remember the 90's very well which just distracts. The cast is great but the director's own casting in this is probably its downfall, if you can just tune out and not need a real plot to follow watch on.
The Business of Drugs (2020)
God awful, completely biased, and very very selective of the truth.
A Documentary series on the Business of Drugs presented by a CIA analyst that fails at every turn to mention how the war on drugs by the CIA is what made it the billion dollar economy it is through shady deals. The history of the use is the only truth, it starts by introducing the host who explains why she joined the CIA from that moment you know it's a pointless watch as anything released by a CIA analyst relating to the war on drugs over the last 30 years is never going to factual.
COBRA (2020)
Sack the writers
This was a complete slog of terrible dialogue with the story basically ripped off from the election and current Brexit situation. It's a portrait of Britain at its worst done the worst way possible. Dear Sky Originals, you can read the scripts before you produce them. Stick to working with companies like HBO.
Wild Wild Country (2018)
Disjointed mess.
The Director in their haste to be stylish and stand out on Netflix has chopped and edited this documentary series into a disjointed mess. There is no clear timeline, no clear narrative and no real pay off. This could have been genuinely interesting but the chop shop editing made it in watchable and a task to watch. Save your time and don't watch it.
