Not a Kdrama! Argh it ended with a cliffhanger.

There were some dynamics that were done well but overall you could care less about the lead character.

Infact i found her friends to be more interesting and wanted to know their stories. As usual they take a back seat as one dimensional lead needs attention.

I was keen since i saw the Korean trailer and thought the first drama that i can think of that is based in US and the character goes there to be a lawyer. Nope.

It does do a good job of addressing racism and the issues that minorities face at corporate. And even does a very good job of empowering the characters. But the problem arises when they oversimplified and tied all the loose ends. Except the last one where they end with a cliffhanger.

To the people rating 10. Like why? It wasn't that great.

I felt like they were trying so hard to make it complex, gone girl like and you know twisty that it came across as insincere.

None of the characters were likeable, even a bit to care to stick till the end .

Viruca?!i have no clue why tf were all the people in this show obsessed with her. She was basic but hyped as some mystical nymph of sorts. Meh.

Skip this if you're on the fence.

Not worth it, in my honest opinion There are better Spanish and other thrillers on Netflix that will keep you hooked from Tudum.

The first half seemed a bit too pretentious and self-aggrandizing. But once you move past it and settle in, it does get a bit better.

The main lead is a good actor. But everyone else was average. It's a great concept and idea but execution/plot was too tropey. The Paul guy was overacting and trying to play Gordon Ramsey but a bit OTT.

However, it's unique and i dont see hollywood making such movies. Give it a go if you're bored and stuck home and want to venture into Thai content. This was a first for me and i am excited to see more of it. Interesting that Netflix is bringing varied asian content to us.

Finished watching 2 hours and still another hour left! The film took 45 minutes to introduce the female lead. Plus the basic premise is well understood, but they keep repeating So many times.

Despite having good plot points, they diluted the story with lengthy writing and editing. Could've used a much better editor.

I am apolitical. So i dont follow politics and was looking to learn more about this event.

And it started of well, but the movie could have finished in an hour. The characters seem to have the same conversation again and again. The same dialogues, same preachy writing. We get it, it's heavily politicized, but the writing is all over the place and quite frankly redundant.

I think people pander this movie a lot due to the subject, Were it actually well written, this would have made for a better film.

This is averagely written movie at best, the bad writing gets glaring middle of the film where you feel they are repeating the same thing again and again.

The movie is dialogue heavy and manages to say nothing much. Tuned in for 40 minutes and still nothing ever happens.

We need not know every single thing discussed between these characters. Definitely not that engaging. The script really was boring and dull, a decent plot ruined by average writing.

I wasn't expecting much, in fact, i was prepared for the worst. I was curious after I saw a film interview and they mentioned this movie.

I think i have a major crush on Tovino after this. Such a great attempt, Basil does a great job at executing all of this. The story is good too, a bit too long in some places but has the right pace to keep you engaged.

The fight scenes, the world building and the believability of the characters is really what wins it. Considering, this wasnt the Marvel budget but comes so close to it, is really execeptional!!

Malayalam film again nails it and is truly the one film industry which supports true talent. I recommend this movie to everyone.

People who gave this a 9 and 10 rating need to watch better movies for sure. This movie was overhyped for what it was. The script and editing should have been sharper. The movie was way too long. The physics were unbelievable and even if so, it wasn't anything new. Rohit Shetty is a good examples of using over the top fight scenes and making it entertaining and also using the same slo-mo but he does it better in this movies than what they did in RRR. The fight scenes were so dull, I'd pick Rohits any day over this. Kinda disappointed in Rajmouli, since I loved action scenes in Baahubali.

I wish the movie was a love story of ram and shyam, it would have made for a great twist than a regular cringey bromance angle. It's a bit too cringey and corny, unbelievable too. Some scenes were really good also but overall, the lack of sharper writing let's down the film.

It's a decent watch if you're bored and have nothing else to watch. But definitely not as memorable as Baahubali.

Overall, a good watch. The movie does try to balance being preachy vs comedy and i think it does overall do it well without coming across as a lecture. The comedy scenes are sort of effective, especially young Siddhi and Ranveer act really well here. Some scenes are a bit over the top, but the writers and directors tried to keep it "masala" enough to keep people engaged, that's what i assume this attempt was. Script could have been a bit tighter though.

Boman Irani was a bit too much overacting, comes across as really unbelievable. He could have tempered his acting a bit, considering, he is a veteran and should have done this effectively, but fails to do so.

Overall, a good film to catch on a weekend. Not sure why this movie bombed, since it was pretty massy and similar to other commercial hindi movies. I blame the promotional team since the content wasnt the issue here. And a misogynistic society. Definitely worth a one time watch for people who are broadminded and curious.

Dont listen to the haters, they seem to have butthurt that they were called out for encouraging female foeticide. The movie isn't perfect, but DEFINITELY isn't as worse as the low rating make it to be. A good attempt, that was entertaining.

I feel bad for the teens in this generation. They dont have any decent romcom of their generation, like at all. This once by far the worst crap I've seen.

The cast had zero chemistry. I didnt feel one thing except that everything was so awkward. The script was shit. The acting wooden. Direction meh. I dont even know how this movie got made and even went to Netflix. It was horrible!

Gen z movies teen flicks so far has been a total dud. Feel so bad for them.

I usually cant watch a movie without getting distracted but this one kept me glued till the end. Was nt sure if it was going to be any good coz Ab. But he proved everyone wrong.

Although this was a masala movie, AB did manage to bring sincerity to the role. All around good movie. A definite watch with a slight hint of nostalgia.

Talent of Johnny Flynn and bill nighy is the only thing that saves this sham of a movie. Why does this exist again? I'd like to know who the hell at Universal thought it was a good idea to make another boring as hell Jane Austen movie. There were other versions which were superior.

Also, ANYA TAYLORJoy - wtf is she is so many movies and she is so damn overrated!!! Dropped a star just because i had the sheer pain of watching her again. The same doe eyed innocent look and acting in every damn film she does. I just hope she would stop getting hired in these movies. Really no match for Johnny flynns performance.

I just hope they stop with Emma remakes, this served no purpose, did nothing right. It if was trying for humor, it was lacking.

If you need a movie in the background, this is it.

The problem starts from the first scene. It's cringey and the slowmo Scenes were so tacky and artificial. The first half lacked substance but makes it up in second half. But the plot itself is so shabby, dont know how this got passed as a screenplay. It is too silly to be a feature film.

Like why?

I like DQ movies usually, but lately his movies arent hitting the right notes. It's missing a lot of nuance that movies like Bangalore days and Ok kanmani had. This movie was poorly written. Pass.

The story was pretty cool at first. But the acting from Yamini ruined it . Plus the whole melodramatic tone of the film ruined what could have been a simple story.

Not every breakup has to be life and death BS. It was simple. He didnt appreciate her, he learns lesson and finished writing his book. Cool. Could have been done in 1.5 hours instead of pointlessly dragging the story to 2.5 hours!! Gautham and Yamini story was the most boring of all, and too damn melodramatic for no bloody reason.

Srini and Suvarna was a great story though. Had the film been polished more with more finessed writing and better film editing, this could have been a much better movie. Sadly, it dragged on for no reason and was so far away from anything realistic.

I'm not in the generation that had I love lucy on tv. By far.

I chose the movie out of indifference and because I saw Kidman headlining it. I wasn't expecting much since I didnt know anything about the show.

From the first scene to the middle to the end, it was scintillating!

I'm rarely surprised by movies and I'm so happy that i was by this one. I know Nicole Kidman is a strong performer (damn girl, whats with all these performances in these past few years) but i knew she sucks at accent, but she did it believably.

Now, i dont know Lucille Ball or watched anything of hers. But how she was written as a sharpwitted actor and filmmaker was truly inspirational. I loved that she called the shots and not just for ego but for perfection and that she understood her art. This is key and set right from beginning that she is passionate about her work and knows it well.

Very few movies actually show brilliance of a woman at work and Aaron Sorkin just celebrated it and showcased it beautifully.

This movie made me curious about the Show and heck I might even try to watch them for reference.

Then I remembered why I didn't particularly remember this movie. It is corny as hell.

I've seen bad rom-com before but this one takes the lead. Everything was sooooooo saccharine! Like I could die.

Through the movie from the first shot I felt something was off. And it just felt like they were bunch of actors reading lines than living the character. They weren't believable AT ALL.

Only Nancy Meyers can waste a collective talent like them. Winslet tries, but this coy, demure persona for both the ladies is so off.

There is no point to this. Cute idea, but horribly written. It seems like it was written for a child and accidentally happened to be for adults, that corny and that "clean". Even hallmark Christmas movies have better chemistry and plot.

So sweet and corny that this movie is downright diabetic.

After watching A few small movies of Lily James I kind of liked her acting and I thought she was really good. But this was just at crap. Lily James just is unbearable to watch and so is her character. Linda is so horribly written, you can't feel anything for her or even are on her side. She is a spirited bore with no redeeming quality than her looks. There is no depth to her and the character entirely brings the whole show down. There was no reason for this to be made honestly speaking.

The few peeks of Andrew Scott and Beecham made it somewhat (that's an overstatement) watchable.

Why was this made? The entire time i kept thinking, we dont need another period drama series.

Took half hour to get into the story. Random party scenes for the half hour with not much going on. Dont know what was happening.

Maybe teens would like this. Feels vapid and unnecessary start to me. Kinda annoying so far.

Dont think I'll be watching a second episode.

I wasn't expecting much but this movie left me in tears. I was weeping at the end of it.

I liked that it was bilingual to some extent -made it very authentic.

As a cinephile, this was great story telling. I hated kajol in the beginning how brash and obnoxious she was and not to mention abusive (seemed to close to her real life persona from movies).

Then as the movie progressed, it made sense why she was the way she was. Kunal Roy Kapur also stole the show, you feel for him.

The movie shines light on women and their choices in Indian patriarchal system and also children coming from "broken families". It was heart touching the way everything was dealt.

Surprised to see Kajol is such a dark movie + the movie made by some of the big names in Bollywood. Definitely, a great attempt at storytelling and also directing from a debutant director.

Kudos to Renuka Shahane.

Cheesier than Disney; badly made. It looks like it was made it a month for sure and was the best at being mediocre.

The only reason i wanted to watch this is I loved the premise of inter-racial romance and the dynamics of the relationship. And i was excited to see a Nollywood movie. I think this is an important story to be told but let down by bad writing and mediocre actors. It felt like i was watching a soap opera and found myself rolling my eyes multiple times

Having watched other romcom Netflix Originals and grown up on Bollywood movies, i wasnt really expecting much.

It felt so forced and artificial. You could "see" the actors acting. First sign of a mediocre performance.

The worse was the script, it felt it was written by a student writer. The dialogues were contrived and very artificial.

There was NO CHEMISTRY with any cast members, it seemed like the entire thing was forced and not organic at all.

Wish they had a better writer and performers. Such an awkward movie! I wasn't expecting an Oscar level movie or performance, just your generic Hallmark level expectations, but this was sooo bad.

I'm however interested to see more Nollywood movies to compare to this. I hope they're far superior.

Very listlessly and leisurely made and there is no structure or enough content to go through this. Could've been a half hour documentary. Boring and felt plotless.

This is such a great documentary, I wasn't expecting it to be. Very well made and such great points made. Horrendous impact on sealife.

Like all of the movie Carell has like 5 lines and all of them are gold. Cracked me up everytime he opened his mouth. Genius!

Such a fun movie! Like so many comedy legends on here that it's hilarious. The one violent riot scene was hilarious AF. Like wtf was happening there no one knows, might have been a career maker for Luke Wilson 😆
