Halo: Sanctuary (2024)
Shaky Cam Garbage
I really wanted to see this. I mean, come on it's Halo! This is easily one of the worst filmed shows I've seen in a long time. If you don't like shaky cam, this show definitely isn't for you. It blows my mind how you can have a budget of this size, and so much of the cinematography looks like it's done on a handheld camera by a 12 year-old that just downed 2 Red Bulls.
I've tried on numerous occasions to try and watch this episode, but I can only make it about 5-10 minutes before the horrible camera work makes me nauseous and queasy.
I really expected a lot lot more from this. But this show is a hard pass for me.
Ferrari (2023)
Absolutely unwatchable

The Blind (2023)
Unwatchable
As much as I'm a fan of the Robertson family and their story. This movie is almost utterly unwatchable. The cinematography is absolutely horrible, and this movie heavily uses handheld camera work in many shots.
***WARNING***
If you have a sensitivity to shaky camera work or motion sickness, I HIGHLY advise skipping this movie. It will make you sick. There are many close up shots and walking shots where the camera jostles around and it will make you nauseous.
I find it absolutely mind boggling that we are in 2023 and these movies have million dollar budgets, but they can't seem to have a steady camera shot.
Supps: The Movie (2019)
Top Class from Alex Ardenti
Supps is a great movie that really highlights the journey of the supplement industry from infancy to the multi-billion dollar powerhouse it currently is. I really enjoyed a lot of the history and seeing some of the really old ads. It's also fascinating to see how everything evolved, from fitness, to the active ingredients in the supplements, all the way to the psychology of the marketing departments. One of the scenes that really struck me was the interview with Mike O'Hearn where he describes a Joe Weider ad with Arnold in it. To see the ad be still burned into his memory so vividly after so many years was just incredible. This is really a must watch movie if you take supplements, are into fitness, marketing or even psychology. You won't be disappointed.
