Surprise of 2021
31 July 2021
Good acting is expected from Pankaj Tripathi. But, for the 1st time ever, I saw Kriti Sanon nailing it. Superb script, dialogues and casting. Well balanced on subtle humour and emotional expressions. Brilliant display of relationships. Overall a definate 9/10 Indian movie after a long time.

Poor lead choice

You need a badminton player to play such a role. Orelse makers can never recreate the orignal matches and sensationalise them. Pariniti's lack of acting and badminton skills made it a painful watch. The guy who was supposed to fit into Gopichand's shoes was dismal to say the least. Very poor attempt at a biopic. Im shocked that MS. NEHWAL AGREED TO THIS DUMP OF A SCRIPT. The matches were very poorly filmed.

Adarsh Gaurav shines
29 January 2021
Adarsh Gaurav stole the entire screen space. Even though his role was titular, he was pitched up against Priyanka Chopra and Rrajkumar Rao, both acting giants. Hence, coming out tops over them was no joke. His prowess in the acting department was refreshing to experience. Watch the movie especially for his performance.

Bad content. Young and impressionable age groups need to stay away. Parental warning required before watching such a movie.

A highly regressive movie. Shows in bad light. This kind of romance is toxic and unnatural. This movie uses sociopaths in society and sets a bad example. The way the eucational system is potrayed is abysmal to say the least. The main character is badly behaved and extreanly agressive who promotes drug use and alcohol. A crappy remake of crappy original content.

Rated it without even seeing it

Im waiting for its release in India an am confident it will be a bloody 10/10 for me, as Im a huge Queen fan. For those who arnt aware, the vocal credits go to Marc Martel, whos voice is an echo of Freddie Mercury. He deserves a lot of credit here too if not more than Rami Malek. Hes the literal behind the scene Freddie.
