All of the people involved here are horrible. Most, if not all, are not very bright. The worst of the lot is "the girlfriend"; annoying, obnoxious and self-absorbed. No wonder this business is failing.

Really enjoyed this episode. We need more leaders like the great Mrs. Roosevelt.

There were a few new bits of info I haven't heard before, but most of the stories from this series are pretty weak in general. Seeing Prince in anything would normally get at least an 8,...but since this featured the "it's all about me" fool Van Jones, I dropped it down to a 6.

Please don't watch this. You will thank me later!

So many things wrong with this series, here are a few,...

• This "story" could have been told in an hour, maybe less.
• Most of the interviews have been scripted, or at a minimum, coached with clichés and attempts at "big moments".
• The dialogue between some of the victims/PIs/etc, mostly just filler, a waste of time
• The old lady from the bail bonds company is beyond annoying. Not credible at all. So over the top with idiotic statements. Playing for the camera the entire time. At times it seemed like a commercial for their business. Was there a need to flash their phone number so many times? Who had the idea to have her smoke in every scene? Did that make her some "bad-ass"? I have nothing against smoking, but the filmmakers honestly thought they were creating a great character. So lame.
• The graphics that were peppered all over were useless. Added nothing.

Not worth my time to continue, so I'll quit here.

I can't believe that anyone involved in the making of this series will ever work again in film. This was that bad. Sorry. Sad, but true.

Do better next time, Showtime.

Having seen the original Ju-on last month, I had hoped this would be as good, if not better than the original. It was not.

I actually fell asleep watching it, and finished it off the next day. Though I didn't think the original was amazing either, I would say it was far better than this 'remake' None of the actors added anything to this film,...ie, everyone of them could have been replaced by unknown high school actors and it wouldn't be any worse for it. In fact, maybe it would have been better. Yes, it is a horror movie, but still, it seems like they are just going through the motions. That goes double for SMG, who's best work is behind her, I've sorry to say.

If you are really interested in this movie, then spend your money on the original instead. Though you might be better renting, and buy something better than both of them.

Luckily, I was able to see this as my final film of 2004. Not being a fan of JLH, I was very impressed with her role here in 'If Only'. Others have described the plot, so I won't go into that. But from top to bottom, this film won me over.

The writing, acting and directing were all top notch. It was a wonderful film, very moving and touching. Hard for me to believe that anyone would dislike this film. With the movie business being what it is, it's doubtful this film will ever be released in the US, so go out any find the Russian DVD, the only release available as of this date.
