I just heard about this DIAMOND of a Star Trek show coming to an end.

BUT WHY?!!!!!!

Holy Crow I just got to know them and now it's ENDING? IT'S SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!

How can this be? I'm PISSED! Every week it's been a LOVING nod to ALL TREK and now we're letting it go. EVERY TREKKER MUST RESIST!

Let Mike know we need him x2. This animated, extremely gratuitous version of Star Trek is NEEDED! It consolidates all Star Trek in a way that is really entertaining, adventurous, totally loving & Trekious-Supreme Delicious. DON'T LET IT END!

The FUTURE NEEDS TO KNOW HOW COOL IT COULD BE. KEEP STAR TREK : LOWER DECKS TREKKING! THEN......Live Long & Prosper.

Got to admit... I waited til I had seen every other second of every other Star Trek series before I ventured in. I DO NOT REGRET IT! I thought that it was just for kids (assuming that I, at the age of 58, understand the "kids" of 2024) but I was mistaken. Again PARAMOUNT & CBS and this time NICKELODEON have brought a fresh and loving take on the original series as well as all of the followers. ALL of US are catered to much like with Star Trek : Lower Decks and Strange New Words but at a slower pace so that future TREKKIES can absorb it.

At first I started to get a little 'JAR JAR' turn-off and the stiffness of the CGI characters was a touch distracting but with the excellent writing and story line along with the character development, that passes after episode 3. I promise to all you fellow hardcore TREKKERS out there that this is worth your time and your embrace. THANK YOU Star Trek : PRODIGY ... I needed that.

I Am strangely attracted..... Dean Stapletons' character in the movie forces me to think of young Jack Nicholson. It must be his appearance because he doesn't really sound or act like Jack. But while watching the movie I want him to sound and act like Jack.

Perhaps my longing would be appeased if he went ahead and portrayed Jack in some kind of prequel to "The Shining" or alternate reality Jack in an alternate reality "The Shining" movie.

None the less, this movie is a lower budget flick but it is interesting enough and well done enough to put some time and vodka into it.

I'm gonna watch for more Dean Stapleton / Phillip Chidel collaborations.

5 episodes in and I still want more. It's entertaining. The chemistry is getting better as each episode happens. And after you realize that the distant relationship between the characters in the beginning is part of the underlying backstory, it's easy to start liking them all. I'm enjoying the show and the acting. It's not like they're going for an Oscar or something. It's one of those shows that you just let happen and it pays you back with a few twists and turns, a couple laughs and satisfying story-lines. Enjoy it with a cocktail or something else that helps you smile. I think this show is going to be a good one to binge on a cold winters night once a few seasons are in the can.

Star Trek has been present every day of my life. It continues to inspire technology and humanity at the same time. STRANGE NEW WORLDS is the classic series filmed with today's effects and today's concerns. I've been waiting decades for a show like this. >>>> THANK YOU ....REALLY! <<<<< Please keep this show EXACTLY the way it started. It allows us the opportunity to experience the history of the classic series while turning us on to top notch effects and awesome performances by everyone involved.

I'm already on my 3rd run of season #1. Something new every time. The characters develop during every episode and, like the original series, some seem to have been shot out of order. I don't know for sure but it's been a great experience so far. Keep the great work.

OK ... it's Not the original Munsters....it's 2022 ...that ship has sailed.

NUTSHELL - Watch this in black and white, accept that it's 50 years later and then count the laughs. I think we've all witnessed the creation of the 'RobZomedy'.

This movie was entertaining. I laughed out loud several times and was happy to see all of the details that were included. It was a fast paced flick; kind of like a very long preview / prequel for an up coming TV series. (Let's Hope.) One negative that rubbed my rhubarb was that there was so much love given to recreating the original Munster mansion facade but ANY true fan was disappointed by the time we got inside. The ENTIRE series was filmed inside of the house yet NOT EVEN AS MUCH AS THE ICONIC STAIRCASE just inside the doors. Just sayin' he built an entire neighborhood around the facade but there was no budget for the staircase that roped so many of us into the original series.

All that being said, this is a cute and entertaining take on the original and I would watch more. So my advise, relax, maybe partake in a casual drink or smoke, sit back and just let it make you laugh. Also.... FIND A WAY to enjoy this movie in CLASSIC BLACK AND WHITE if you can.....it gives it "That old-world charm".

10/05 Update: I've finally found out how to watch this in BLACK & WHITE and I just gotta say, "BRILLIANT!". Universal would not allow this film to be shot entirely in black and white SO Rob shot it in ULTRA-COLOR and this format is perfect when watching in Black & White, the way this film was intended. Just harken back to 'Young Frankenstein'. Have a shot or 2 and Toke if you do..... This is an entertaining film if you give a 'hoot' about the origins of Herman and Lily. Yes, its hokie. Yes, it's corny, ...So was the original! Yes, It's NOT EXACTLY like the original but DAMN the LOVE is all there.

12/23/22 6Th viewing : Watched it at 10% Color.... Fan-Freakin-Tastic!!!! All of the brightly colored make-up disappears but some of the even brighter colors get through. VERY GOOD LOOK FOR THIS FLICK!
