Killing Bono (2011)
Natural Selection
The part where Bono call's Neil up to ask him to open for U2, when Neil "says thanks but no thanks" That's when I shut off the Tele.
Too bad the movie was going great with their struggles about trying to make it as a band. A few nude scenes and party scenes to brighten up the story, But if this story is about trying to make it as a band, a logical person would take a gig like,.. I dunno.. Opening up for U2 !!! I felt a shame for this character's poor decisions and to think that this person holds a grudge against Bono (or the story's premiss), He cant blame anybody else but himself.
If this is a real story, then they should rename their band for "Natural Selection". Because they are the reason for being non existent today..
Perhaps in the future I will go and watch the rest of the movie, (on Netflix) whenever i have time.
Besides that, I loved Adams hair fro, the music was getting better,.. and it was nice to see the historical timelime.
4/10
The Crow: Wicked Prayer (2005)
*Coming from the guy who looked like The Crow back in high school, *
This was not a dark film. This movie did not contain any nudity, any drug use, and any good music (soundtrack). There was no "STP" nor "RATM" not even any "NIN". I was hoping to hear some modern alternative rock or metal music but I was shocked that the only music that was playing during this whole movie was some mariachi trumpet melody going on and on till the end.
I thought it was inappropriate to use a young adult to portrait The Crow. He is far from being The Crow 's "Brandon Lee and Vincent Perez" that we are used of seeing. Furlong didn't even have long hair. At first when I heard they were making this movie, I though David Boreanaz was going to be the next Crow. This movie was badly directed. David should have been the Crow, Tara should had shown some more skin and Furlong should had been the bad guy with a cocaine habit. Furlong didn't even look like The Crow, he looked more like Jack White from the music band: The White Stripes.
The Crow is supposed to be a dark film, in which most of the scenarios takes place at night and targets an underground and open minded audience. This movie was far from it, I found they tried to accommodate this movie for everybody's taste but failed.
If you're a fan of the original movie; its insulting, don't bother watching it, it is a waste of time, a waste of money if you buy or rent it, you can always downloaded it but I find it's a waste of bandwidth. The black dude was funny in it ,I give it a 2/10.
