Emotions were on point!
15 July 2020
Every actor performed amazing. In general, plot does not matter to me and emotions do, but the plot here is excellent. The story world, flash backs included, is absolutely believable. For the most part, the general critic asked for movies where bullets never hit the main characters, and this delivers. There could not have been a better climax, which was set up so flawlessly. Wonderful movie.

Funny, but laborous
28 July 2019
Quentin Tarantino creates like no film student can. Many actors are charismatic and dialogues are funny. The story-if one could call it that-is atrocious. The movie would be better as a series of clips on YouTube. Forty-five minutes into the two-hour-and-thirty-seven minutes, I felt that I was completing a chore watching to the end.

Suicide Squad (2016)

EXTENDED version SAVES the movie!!!
15 November 2016
Much like the success of the Batman v Superman EXTENDED version, the re-release of Suicide Squad is a sure-footed, spectacular story. It is more visually transfixing, increasingly good, and an evolutionary step forward in storytelling. Everything critics complained about the Joker is fixed as all his deleted scenes now included. More humor and character background restlessly are added amid the high-flying action. Katana initially seemed to unnecessary added, but now she has more backstory and her sword plays a bigger role in the climax. There are more Batman scenes with Killer Croc and Harley Quinn. The fifteen minutes added to the Joker and Harley Quinn subplot brings a new light to their relationship and their three-way conflict with Batman. This is the brilliantly clever movie that should have been released in the first place. DC's extended releases are redemption to the studio cuts. This is the winning movie fans were hoping to see.

You have seen this before. Watch something else.

Walking out of Thor: The Dark World I felt I just watched Transformers: Dark of the Moon again. It has the spit out formula that blockbuster movies like Iron Man 2 have. It feels like TV has another spin off cop show. The CGI is big-budget, but the story here has hardly any suspense and is boring. The movie reuses the short action, talking, villain creates problem, talking, and conclusion plot line. The movie starts with a small-scale fight with irrelevant enemies to introduce Thor. Then Jane messes with a portal while an ancient vengeful antagonist who lost long ago shows up, all the way to the mid-point when Marvel recreates the Star Wars The Phantom Menace battle with the energy shield dome and two armies run at each other, and it ends shortly, to restart in the ending. Thor has no weaknesses and he needs Loki for distraction. Describing the ending in one sentence sounds like the premise of The Avengers ending. Save your money for the next Marvel movie. I wrote this review this morning and six hours have passed and I have forgotten most of the movie.
