A beautiful, piognant film.

The film is beautifully shot, beautifully acted.

Nighy says more with a single word than many actors say all film.

It's slow pace allows for the emotion to evolve and sit within you as you watch.

Some may say nothing happens but that is very much the point - dull, stable, monotony - matching the main characters choice of life.

It manages to avoid being overly sad. And while it made me think about my own life, I was more wishing that the sea side big top was somewhere I could perhaps visit!

I felt the ending was a little heavy handed but it didn't distract from the enjoyment.

The over dub into English seemed laboured. It might be a direct translation from French or a poor English writer but the script felt flat and awkward. I suspect in its original language it might have had more zing.

While the story is well told, ever so often things just didn't make sense because of the translation and that impacted on the enjoyment of the film.

The animation was good but the voice actors, some not actors but comedians, couldn't lift the dull script. Perhaps with a more experienced cast there might have been a little more energy.

It was an ok watch but i wouldn't want to sit through it again.

It's not a documentary.

It's enjoyable storytelling.

I am not a fan of the use of foreshaddowing of death in one episode but that's personal preference.

Overall the performances are top notch.

The eight episode hour long format allows for the story to develop and characters to be drawn with depth. I'm coming to the end now and I feel as if I want more.

The lead actor carries the role with aplomb.

I also like the mix of period music with more modern rock. This is an interesting mix and keeps the energy matching the scenes without having to resort on a few clichéd tracks, although they did use an overly obvious choice for the German listening.

What a horrible film. Full of unpleasant characters. Basically average girl thinks too much of herself and couldn't go out with someone because he looks normal.

There is no real resolution and the ending feels as false as the snow even if you could see it coming in the first 15 minutes of the film.

Not good enough to be Christmas fluff.

The only reason why this has a very low rating is the people voting would have been on the side of the fascists.

They should take a long hard look at themselves.

And they should watch the programme in full so they can reflect.

Wow this film is bad. It's not often a film makes me angry it's so bad.

Acting is poor, script is poor, concept is poor, direction is poor.

Horrible.

I'm a 50 something straight man and I loved it. As a parent you can do nothing more than love your children for who they are. A joy of a film.

The pace of this show is exceptional. It lets stories and characters build and has the freedom to take its own sweet time to do it. The characters a well drawn and fantastically acted by the cast. Is it better than Breaking Bad? Not sure but it is as good and that is high praise indeed.

This program is trash. It pushes out dated and frankly wrong stereo types. Young children shouldn't watch this. It's the one thing that I have actually blocked on Netflix so my daughter can't watch it after she started making inappropriate comments based on the content of this show.

I had high hopes but won't be watching anymore episodes. There is no excuse for such cliched, lazy dialogue. It's really not very good. Holes in the plot etc
