Watching Reacher is like watching the Star Wars prequels. Great potential destroyed by wooden acting and bad dialogue. It isn't the actors fault in either case- Star Wars and Reacher have some great actors. It's the fault of the script writer and the directors.

I enjoyed the Reacher books and I expected a certain amount Reacher being a tough guy and always winning. What I didn't expect is how all the characters are caricatures of themselves. Robert Patrick plays a cartoon version of an evil villain. From the scowling and yelling to the "I want them dead!!" said over the phone. It would be comical if that's what they were going for but that's not what they wanted.....

Sure, it's silly and implausible and the acting isn't awesome and maybe the dialogue is bad too. But other than that it's damn good time! Try watching it and not feeling good at the end.
