Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel (2021)
Who cares what youtubers think?
The mystery of elisa lam is interesting but it didn't need to be stretched out overc4 episodes. My massive pet hate are influences and Youtubers and for some reason they seem to take up the majority of this series. Some of them pretty much made a living off elisa lams death. I was hoping for a little more about other cases that'd happened in the hotel but it's mainly based around elisa lam
The Silencing (2020)
Good entertainment
7 cos I wasn't once bored watching this film. Decent acting. But there are so many unanswered questions?? And a lot of pointless parts in it and scenes that just did not add up. But was a good film to watch to pass time. This won't blow you away.
Cold Moon (2016)
As good as a low budget horror could be
I actually enjoyed this film. I was a little put off from the 4.5 rating, but I thought the trailer looked interesting so gave it a go. It was a very strange cast, some good veteran actors and some very poor new actors which made it a little confusing sometimes. The ghosts are good, some good jump scares, even a few moments I had a few chills down my spine, but then every now and then a rubbish cgi moment. So it's best not to take this film too seriously and to just enjoy it for its entertainment purpose.
Hellraiser: Judgment (2018)
If you're a fan then give it a go.
This film got alot of hate from reviewers, but if you like the franchise i believe this is one of the better ones of the bunch. If you ignore some of the plot holes and continuity of the film it is entertaining. I think this is probably the most disgusting of all of them though lol. Some scenes will make you gag. The new character the Auditor is a great character i think. I hope if they do more films we see him again. Definitely worth a watch
Transcendence (2014)
Great idea with a great cast, but a rushed story line
Transcendence had a great trailer, great story line and a great cast but i wasn't too pleased with the film. I genuinely felt this could be at least possibly a trilogy or maybe a double bill film. In the film it spread over several years skipping a lot of progress with the story line and not providing enough character relationships to the audience. They could have added and done so much more with this film. Films like these need an audience with an open mind to enjoy. The plot is a bit over the top but its still very enjoyable if you're a futuristic sci-fi fan. Rebecca Hall and Johnny Depp are brilliant in it. Definitely worth a watch but the trailer makes it look so much better than what it really is.
