Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run (2019)
Amazing Star Wars fun!
It's was great! Be a pilot, engineer or gunner! We went on it 3 times! Incredible graphics! Our only gripe is that it's too short. Just a few minutes (not including the wait).
Go later at night....4-5:00. That way the line is considerably shorter and you can go on as much as you want! 😃
The Remaining (2014)
Check it out!
Loved it from the trailer. Movie was great! A bit of the filming was dark but no big deal. The script was good. The story wasn't overall original but it did what it had to do to get the point across. It had a sense of realism (even if you're not a Christian) that you don't find in a lot of "end times/rapture films." The acting was solid & having the beautiful & talented Ms.Alexa PenaVega was a definite plus! I have seen & own quite a few DVD's from Affirm Films. Some are a bit preachy but this isn't one of them. I wouldn't call this horror as in a gory type film. It's more of an intense thriller that'll make you think about yourself & your path in life.
Dracula Untold (2014)
Great start!
First off I'll start by saying that this IS the 1st installment in the Universal Monsters Universe. Producer Alissa Phillips said that it is part of things and that Luke Evans will be playing Dracula in future installments of the franchise.
With that out of the way.........
All goods things to say here! Great story! Great acting! Great writing! A new take on the story that did have a new twist but it made sense to make it that way. It wasn't thrown in there to give it some cheesy way of connecting things with no reason behind it.
The Gothic look was amazing! Sets were great! Effects were incredible!
Definitely check out this movie. It's 100% worth it!
If the rest of the Universal Monster movies are like this we're in for huge treat!
The Lost Episode (2012)
Uhm....really?
A 2 is being nice. I'm very surprised that Beverley Mitchell & Haylie Duff are associated with this video (yup, filmed on vid not film). Then I saw they helped produce it. Ouch! C'mon ladies! I wanted to stop watching after 20 minutes but out of a love of Bev & Haylie I continued til the end. The acting is some of the worst I've ever seen. Although Haylie does a good job at being believable the rest of the cast is pretty blah. Sorry to say Bev even wasn't up to par in this and I'm a big fan of hers. It's categorized as horror, I see it as comedy. I see the budget was 1 million. Where'd it go? Certainly not into the making of this movie. With Michael Rooker directing you'd think the movie would be worth a watch. Sorry, Mr. Rooker. Don't quit your day job.
