Joy Ride (2001)
If you're a Paul Walker fan, go somewhere else
Seriously, this is one of the corniest movies I've seen in a long time. I gave it a four because there was a couple of good little twists and plots, but jeez in the end they knew who the killer was they all saw him yet they couldn't identify the dead body in the truck, pretty terrible writing, pretty terrible, ending and pretty terrible acting. I've gotta be honest I know most of you will just watch it to see Paul Walker take a tonne of his reputation on this film alone. He can actually act and is in a bad actor and leelee is rather good to if you just need to fill in a an hour or so, and just chill with not much happening in your life. This is the movie for you wasn't the movie for me and definitely not Paul Walker's finest.
Air (2023)
A shoe is just a shoe until you put it on!
Inspiring. We've all heard of Air Jordan. I'm watching the movie and still wasn't sure whether they would clinch the deal. That's good acting. Good story and a great outcome.
True under dog story.
It really was a step back in time. They changed the way deals where done from that day on. Athletes finally get paid for their name not just the greedy companies. The shoe design that the NBL could not stop. "Just do it " the swoosh it was also a mini documentary on the brand Nike where it came from and how it got there.
In review, I just watched a movie about a shoe and how the shoe become famous and I loved it.
Cerulean Blue (2019)
AUSSIE all the way
Look it won't blow your eyeballs out but it's a decent movie. I personally did not like the ending. The actors where loveable and I genuinely had feelings for them. This movie could've gone to 10 it could've gone a 1 for me it was a 5. Good wake up call for some people.
The Starling (2021)
Comedy Duo living life
Two top comedy actors made tears roll down my cheeks yet I was not laughing. What a beautiful story with a very sad beginning. A great story on moving on in life and to not forget what's is around you. You will have bad days. You will have good days. And then you could just wear a helmet.
The War at Home (1996)
Wow. It holds a punch after 20+ years
The only time I have watched this movie was 2019. I don't know how it went underneath my radar but it is definitely worth a watch. The acting is up there with the best, storyline is a great emotional rollercoasters of what a Vietnam vet went through. I'm not saying it was a perfect representation of the truth but it sure punched me right in the heart.
WAR. WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR!
