The Simpsons: Margical History Tour (2004)
Historical parody at its best
Who knew learning history could be fun through The Simpsons. A three part parody episodes that strikes all the right chords in laughter. Another great episode from The Simpsons Golden Era.
The Simpsons: Gone Maggie Gone (2009)
Utterly delightful and funny
This episode of probably Lisa heavy plot reminds us how The Simpsons writers uses parodies and adventure mystery to create amazing episode. A laugh out loud episode. The cultural references makes it even more amazing.
The Simpsons: Trilogy of Error (2001)
More of a genre parody that is one of the best episode.
An episode that proves plot and comedy in the Simpsons are always golden. The episode starts the usual but gets amazing progressively. Definitely, an episode to show and prove the golden age episode of The Simpsons, and an inspiration for upcoming episodes.
Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015)
What were they thinking????
The movie was wrong on so many levels, that it felt like watching a Rip-off of star wars episode 4.
The Flaws: 1. The cinematography was too movementy. Unlike the smoothness in the other ones.
2. No impactful soundtrack. I like JW, but this felt he missed out.
3. Lack of originality in the story. Death star... oops sorry death planet, done before and all. Hell! It makes the story lines of the games (like knights of the old republic 1-2, Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy - even shadow of the empire) and various novels feel like classic.
4. The fact that Rei defeated villain with no extensive(or even an hour) training.
5. R2D2's sudden awakening and conveniently having the rest of the map only at the climax.
6. The ending shot was way too fast. all the others had slow or no movement at all.
The Good: 1. Visual Quality. 2. Production and locations. 3. Visual effects 4. Action sequences 5. Acting
Overall, it was OK for one time viewing on the cinema. Fans before this one would be disappointed(and have been).
Raat Aur Din (1967)
An Underrated Classic of Bollywood
Raat Aur Din clearly belongs to Nargis who handles her character so simultaneously, effortlessly and beautifully. Through this role she proves what versatility is called in terms of acting.
Pradeep Kumar is good, Feroz Khan is alright, while the rest also fit in good. The only other actor who is also worth watching, Leela Mishra, who plays the mother-in-law of Nargis.
Shankar-Jaikashan's music enhances the movie's atmosphere. Whether be a club song, a ghazal, a street song or party song. Shankar-Jaikishan yet again gives a powerful soundtrack, with voices of Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammad Rafi and Manna Dey.
A must watch for fans of Nargis.
Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)
one of the best from the series
Out of the prequels this is my favorite and second from the whole saga(first is empire strikes back).
It has great effects, awesome music, good direction and the acting a bit flat at times but over it i am. The pacing might be slow at times but the action makes it over it. The pod racing, battle sequences and Coruscant scenes are the plus points of the movie. It truly doesn't deserve the bashing it gets.
A great way to have a foundation of one of the biggest movie series and truly deserving a lot of praise.
Nice job George Lucas.
