Who can look at a movie with Selma Hayek and not enjoy the view. Aspecialy with all the skin she is showing in this movie. bikini, sexy panties, even a little bit of topless. She was lying on top of Pierce, so nothing was shown, but still, a little bit of side boob from Selma is a lot better then most woman here in Amsterdam. The story is awesome, the cast is great, and woody....you where awesome. Why don't we see more of this man. Pierce, what can we say about him. this roles are meant for this man. I know everybody loves him as 007, but in performance like this, he goes from great to immense. The reason that i could not grade it higher is because i had the feeling i saw it all before.

This is it, a 20th century vampire movie.Voted a 6.8 ???? come on people, this movie is definitely worth more than that. Shooting, swords, martial arts, Amazing special effects, hardcore action, what more could anyone want i ask myself. i said it many time before and probably say it many times more. "everybody knows what they want out of a good movie, if vampire movies isn't your thing, don't expect to like it" so don't give a great movie a bad rep because you made a bad personal choice. even though i'd never expected for Wesley Snipes to go for a role like this, i couldn't think of anyone else better for the job. and Stephen Dorff, you can see a lot of progress from when he started out till blade & the work after that.

this is a pretty hard movie to vote over. Most of the cast was good but the story is getting really old. "if you can't get even close to "Indiana Jones" just drop the project and find something else". After the Indiana Jones Trilogy,Tomb Raider, National Treasure and all the other mediocre rip off/ spin off's and so forth. Get the clue and get real,This story line is about to be extinct, it's done, it's old. for the time be, let's close that book. NOW...i complained enough abut this, let's review the good points about this movie. "Kelly Hu": if that woman get's any hotter she'll go supernova!!!!! Not to Mantion a darn good actress. "Noah Wyle": I liked his work in this movie as much a in previous performances. let's hope well see more of him. And "Sonya Walger"...i'm a big S.C.I. fan so i saw here there, but i never really noticed here before this. didn't love it, when she was chopping through the woods with the machete & came out of it in that tight, sweaty top. there's just something about a beautiful , sweaty woman with a big knife in here hand. sorry for being a bit freaky hahahaha. so as a final conclusion. Thanks to the great work the actors & Actreces delivered, this movie was at least a bit god

This is gonna be the first time i'm gonna be negative about a movie. The only good thing about is, is Christian Slater & Neve Campbell. Why would they work on a project like this ???? I Love reading & watching documentaries about history & i'm a movie junkie, but this work is total Sh*t. the reason i voted 3 was because of Christian Slater, Neve Campbell & there where like 2 or 3 funny moments. So for every funny moment in it, there one point. But Basically i lost 81 minutes of my life. one thing about crappy movies is, it makes the other ones look so... much better. why would the local block buster even rent out these things. i don't even know what to wright Any more. And usually i can ramble on for pages about a movie. well that was it then, ladies and gents...i'm out

Miracle (2004)..... Here are a couple of key words for this movie. - Great - immense - Intence - Powerful - fascinating - Passionat - emotional and much much more. I started this movie thinking, this is gonna be one of those tiresome, true story. after movies like "Radio" & "Remember the titans", i thought what could add u to that. What could be an improvement Let me tell you, i turned the movie on and i could not get my self to even pause it, let alone stop it. I watched it in one run and forgot i had to go to the toilet.(don't worry, the couch is still clean;-)). and i know, i've been told i'm way to enthusiastic about some movies. But believe me, This is one to get ENTHUSIASTIC about. Without any doubt, i'm rating this movie "10". To people who haven't seen it, "WATCH THIS ONE" To DVD collectors like myself; "ADD THIS TO YOUR COLLECTION" And naturally a standing ovation to Herb Brooks.

Who can watch a movie, look at Lucy Liu and not be overjoyed. That woman is amazingly beautiful & a talented actress. That's a tough combination to find now a days. And Jeremy Northam. i heard his name plenty of times, but i never really noticed him. My advice to Hollywood is : "use him more".
now about the movie: I watched it in one of my graveyard shift. I don't recommend that to anyone. It's a bit to complicated & mysterious for that. i still can't believe i didn't see the ending coming. I'm not gonna say what cause that'll spoil the hole movie. although saying this is spoilment enough.
now i'm suppose to cast my vote about this movie. I love the dark mystic story, the actors did a good job & i love the directors (natali) work in the past. There's not a big audience for this kind of thing, that's also pretty risky. you know what, i'm just gonna give this work a 8 cause everybody should see this. Then again, 1 point deduction cause there is always space for improvement.

What can i say accept "great". Good martial arts ! Good story ! Amazing cast ! It's a tri-fectum of enjoyability. Morgen freeman: there's not much to say about this actor. I've never seen him preform badly. if acting were Greek, Morgan Freeman would be one of there gods. Jet Li: Although i like his performance in Hong Kong movies better than his Hollywood flicks. Man..., is he a martial artist or what! So smooth, so gracefully, and in this movie, so raw. Bob Hoskins: haven't seen him in a good movie in a while. I always liked his work very much and i hope i'll see him some more again from here on in. i did expect, well... hoped to see more kicking and hitting in it. i loved this movie, and as soon as they bring out the DVD here in Amsterdam i'll be the first one in the store to buy it.

It's a movie about a "fast and the furious" expanded taxicab. The driver (latifah) is a feisty, hard boiled black woman & she assist a loser cop who ends up solving a series of bank robberies. Now to go back to the wondering part.... What do people who go see this movie expect ? A major action flick ? a great story ? ..... "NO !" It's just a funny "sit back and laugh your ass off" kind of movie. No great plot line, no great story but just sit back, relax & laugh. Everybody could know this just by reading the cover. So why expect more of it. Not that is was a great movie, but just to get the voting number up, i'm gonna give this movie a 10. And here is the final conclusion and advise: "don't go watch a movie just because it got a lot of publicity" And don't stomp a good movie into the ground because you made a bad personal choice.
So for every body; If you want a no thinker just laughing evening. Go check this one out.

This is what every school going teenager dreams of. i always thought the Netherlands where missing out on a lot. we don't have school campuses here in the Netherlands, i love the idea of living on one over these. Doesn't matter if you see it in the movies or hear from people who studied in the us, the stories always sound amazing. This is one of the amazing examples what teenagers whit an idea and enough balls can accomplish. to bad they had to give it up. and "Rachael Leigh Cook"...what a FOXX!!!!

This movie is proof that a great movie doesn't have to cost a lot of money. you just have to pick the right elements. a good story, picking the right cast, the right filming places. After seeing Cuba gooding Jr. in this movie i became a big fan of his. it's to bad thats he does these the rich guy kind of easy parts these days. this was some really good acting of him. It felt real. 1 question though. Why did an actor like James Marshall never make it big time. I like the vibe he brings to the white screen. and Robert Loggia..who doesn't like his raw, had to much whiskey kind of voice. Jon Seda, a real struggling boy in this movie, through the years he gotten even greater. keep on going the right way Jon !!!

this movie is one of the great ones. Easy to watch, but still with a big story behind it. lots of humor, actions, different species. and one of the funniest things i've seen, "the Chinese fly by restaurant guy in his old flying boat". Chris Tucker with his freaky voice, the heavenly Milla Jovovich, Gary Oldman plays "Zorg" great and Bruce Willis...what can i say about him...i'm a big fan ! The movie is far from perfection, that's why i gave it one point deduction. but like i said "it's went straight into my personal top 5.

People who say this movie is not funny, lame, even kind of a drag. stop talking and go watch "Citizen Kane" or something. i laugh my ass of from the beginning till the end. OK... is was a kind of simple, easy humor but you get that message from looking at the cover. it's a really easy to watch kind of movie and the people who bashed this movie are crazy. these people should really choose there movies more carefully. come on... pimp my ride only with a plane, a cast with mostly stand up comedians, rappers & tom Arnold.

Romola Garai......ain't she something sweet. Diego Luna, before "the terminal" i'd never heard about this guy, but i must say, i like the vibe he puts out there.
and the movie..... i ranked it 7 for the following reasons. the to main actors, xcelent work. the Latin/ Cuban music was great. i even think i'n gonna get the soundtrack. the story of someone on vacation, meeting one of the natives and having the time of there lives, that's a dream of a lot of people & the other people had some kind on similar experience.
But....the reason i didn't go any higher was the ending of the story. they couldn't be together any longer, they didn't win the competition. the small part Patrick swayze played didn't bother me that much, but if there gonna put swayze in the sequel of the movie, i at least expected Jennifer Grey to be his dancing partner. or at least see them still being together during the dance competition.
Final conclusion: i enjoyed watching it & my date like it. these kind of honey sweet movies somehow brings out all the romance in ladies. That's why i say "keep on making these kind of chick flicks" :)

i wonder what kind of people watch this movie ??? I think martial arts lovers go out and see this movie !? Why is the ranking so low, because the martial arts is one of the best i've seen in years. good story, lots of action, lots of fighting. what more could an audience want? it was a tough decision to give the right ranking for this movie. Although the actors performance was good, if they have put a jet-Li or chow yun fat in the leading role it would have been a world wide success. one thing i didn't like about it was, that it took place in the u.s. the return of this tyrant is supposed to be a 500 year old Asian myth. Why did this have to take place in the us & why in the city of Chicago? The mix between Asians & Americans didn't bother me that much, but i think an Asian cast would have been better. and one point deduction for the city of Chicago. it would have been way cooler if it took place somewhere in the orient.

The crow: i didn't even read the bad reviews. I don't even know if it has any. it probably does because of it's low ranking. one thing for the people who had complaints about this movie: "complain about the sequels, not about the original". the acting is good, the story is great & the death of it's main character is tragic. i wouldn't mind to see a lot more of Brandon lee's work. let's hope he rests in peace and that he's having a ball up there with his dad. i tried to submit my comment because there not much more to say about this movie. "i loved it". from the beginning till the moment Shelly comes to escort him to the afterlife where he can finally rest. the music was rocking. i downloaded a lot of the song and still looking for the last ones. I think i'n just gonna buy the soundtrack.

Ladies & Gentlemen "There's a new definition for cheesy"
and somehow i enjoy these cheesy, spy kids kind of movies. It will never be in my top 10 list. not even my top 100 list. but i'm an optimist and I always look on the bright side of things and see good in everything. flicks like this make it really easy for other movies to blossom. But still.....the island is great, so high tech and still really retro with all these flower power kind of colors.
i have one question though... They talk about there secret identities; How do they expect to keep a secret identity. They don't wear masks, they don't wear discuses. If the hole family went to a public school, someone from the past is gonna snitch. everybody knows that 9 out of 10 people can not keep secrets. that's basic common sense well...that's about it.
My Final Conclusion: Thunderbirds rule, at least the idea behind it. But the movie.......

Immortals: i just wanted to say i loved it. Futuristic, Action, different spiecies through out the galaxy. aspecialy the mix between actors en digital car-actors. A good performance by Thomas Kretschmann. a new face for me was Linda Hardy. I hope to see a lot more of her in the future.... :) Another new name for me was that of director Enki Bilal. as i check his record, it said this was is 3th work. and what a work it is. I watched it in one of my graveyard shifts and i must say, for a night shift it was pretty tough to get trough but that didn't make me love the movie any less. i know it's not much, but my compliments
