Chrissy & Dave Dine Out (2024)
One of the best in its category
I thoroughly enjoy watching this show featuring Chrissy Teigen and David Chang. The conversations feel genuine, offering an authentic glimpse into the lives of celebrities that you don't see anywhere else. The chemistry between Chrissy and David is engaging, making each episode a delightful experience. The unique format and candid discussions set this show apart from typical celebrity interviews. I hope it gets a second season, as it's refreshing to see such honest and relatable content on television. I would recommend anyone who likes Mukbang shows to watch this one. It is a hybrid of Hollywood Reporter and food show.
Army of the Dead (2021)
Simply bad
Spoiler alert!!!
Killing a whole team to rescue a woman who died at the end. Don't waste your time.
José (2018)
What a horrible movie!
I would classify this movie as one of the worst directed movies I've seen in my life. I try to support this genre, specially because it tackles LGBT issues in Latin American countries.
The director missed a great opportunity to present a coherent story. There are scenes that do not add anything to the characters, and there are missing scenes leaving holes in the story.
It couldn't even make a good movie for a student.
Matthias et Maxime (2019)
I loved it
Amazing directing and acting. I could watch it several times.
Solo (2013)
Great performance by Veron and Ramos - Not a great plot
From all the gay movies I have seen, the Argentineans are taking the top prizes. This movie has excellent performances by Patricio Ramos and Mario Verón. I would say that my rating is because of the performance and not the actual movie.
The plot is very predictable. You could say that some of the emotions and actions are "justifiable", but the overall plot doesn't make much sense. Saying this, I have to say that the movie compared to the cheesy American gay theme movies, it is worth watching.
Applause to both Verón and Ramos. Very proud of them. You guys are very talented. I hope we can see more of your work in the coming years.
