Medium: It's a Wonderful Death (2010)
Should this have been the finale?
Looking at the history surrounding the end of this season and the decision to renew Medium for another season but for only half the amount of episodes... one can look at this episode and believe that they were writing a finale rather than just an end to a season. This would've been a beautiful ending. "To the future!"
The Brigade: Race to the Hudson (2019)
Can They Do It?!? 🇨🇦/🇺🇸 Strong!
Wow, watching this was nail-biting!! Great representation of both Canada & the USA. I'm a diehard Survivor fan and wondered how I would like this show as it doesn't follow the normal "reality TV" formula of cut throat competition, but I loved the fight for unity & cooperation. This show is a must see for reality TV junkies. I surely hope that this isn't a one-off; I would love to see this become a yearly challenge so I can say I'm a diehard Brigade fan too!
Sorjonen (2016)
I'd prefer subtitles!
I don't mind watching foreign shows with subtitles... and the voice overs in this show are just awful! So distracting.
Ballerina (2016)
Lie, cheat, steal, & be rewarded? Great lesson taught here.
As long as the person who has done you wrong is an awful person, it's acceptable to lie, cheat, & steal, especially if you're fulfilling your dreams? It's never acceptable to do any of these things yet here we have this lesson all wrapped up in ballerina slippers & a tutu.
Do we even still wonder nowadays, why children are growing up with less & less morals, accountability, and concern for others? When you can wrap immorality, unaccountably, selfishness, self-focus, & greed in such a pretty package, is it any wonder what kinds of people we'll soon be dealing with in our society?
If you value morals & teach them to your children, do not expose your children to this film; it will undermine your family's values.
Nyukhach: Episode #2.1 (2016)
How did we get here?
****Spoiler Alert****
The second season finds The Sniffer in new digs, his would-be girlfriend in an institution, & him shot. There are too many unanswered questions in this episode & I'm now in ep 3 still hoping for some answers. Why does he have a new place?? How did the Dr end up institutionalized (was it PTSD from being held hostage?? That few minutes with her Dr just wasn't enough of a transition.)? And was there a note telling us that after him going to the hospital that everything that followed was before the shooting? We need some hint of time passing in this episode.
