Kidnap (2017)
Poor Halle
Poor Halle Berry, going from bad to worst. It's amazing that a Oscar winner becomes doing a low budget, low brain movie like this. THe awful resource of being speking her thougths to get some continuity, is nothingh but annoying; the long portraits exhibition at the beginning puts a serious question about the directing aptitudes of Mr. Prieto, and Berry herself, as a producer, to say nothingh about the rythm of the movie, the porr camera approach.
If somebody knows what happens to the barking dog over the dock, at the end of the movie, please let me know, I am concerned still about its magical dissapereance.
Incheon sangryuk jakjeon (2016)
History for teenagers.
A teenagers approach to an historic episode, that deserves an adult director. It's a miracle that main characters survives until the end of the film, among the bullet's rain, and the flood of casulaties. It's a pity that Indiana Jones, Rambo and Captain American were busy to go on help.
The Duel (2016)
Harrelson bad copy of Brando
It's a pity for Mr. Woody Harrelson that Marlon Brando made the Colonel Kurtz a lot of years before ("Apocalypse Now", 1979), otherwise his play could appears with a shade of originality. The copy of some camera shots doesn't help too much. The argument about a soldier/ranger sent to take control over a miscarried colonel/general with another environment, may appear as something original for people that have no idea about previous film making, and the efforts of Harrelson to build a character bounces against the solid brick wall built by Brando. If it was intended to do an homage to Coppola and his film, well, actor and director fails badly.
