Extraction (2020)
Worst thing I have seen in a while
So like everyone I was also waiting for this. But it's so bad that I fall asleep in the middle. Apart from the action scenes there's nothing in this. What a waste of two of my favourite actors.
Dobaara (2018)
A timeless Love story.
Let me weep. Let me burn alone.
I wish, you live. live in much joy.
Garbage (2018)
Sorry q, where's your intellect
This film is a garbage. When the film starts I thought it's gonna be a good one, but gradually it was going nowhere. All of a sudden all the characters were doing things which doesn't make any sense. There's a big difference between art films and non intellectual movies. Such a garbage, waste of time .
District 9 (2009)
This is the practical form of Avatar.
Just watched this movie now, and it just blew me away. What a fookin piece of art man. Thats digitalization. I remember the lines of Robert Rodriguez from his book Rebel without a crew ] when you have the combination of talent and technique, then you are just unstoppable.' this movie is just the same. the director Neill Blomkamp is just one another amazing indi master who have gain the knowledge of proper technology, where to use it and the talent to attract the attention of his audience. Avatar is no doubt way beyond visually great, and this movie is just the practical part of Avatar. A full motion running movie, you just cant take off your eyes. There's a core emotional part is also attached to the theme of the film which gonna make you think again and again , are we really good ones. what I felt is, The world is full of fooking business man. there's no place for sacred feelings. People just relies on profit or loss. I am sad. Very very sad.
Blood Simple (1984)
this is the only movie i have never deleted from my pc without having any emotional attachment like others.
yeah I am excited. Whenever I think of this movie it gave me a Goosebumps. This should be a true masterpiece in the all categories like story, dialogues, direction, background score, acting, cinematography what what else. Joel Coen became one of my most fav director after watching this and his younger brother Ethan as my fav writer for movies. This is the only movie I can watch in any mood, this is the only movie I can watch twice or thrice in a weak, i have done it before, thats why i can assume :P. I am just mad about this piece of art which have entertained me like nothing else.If you asked to to leave this world with having just one thing nwithout any doubt I will choose this epic and leave with a smile. I have seen the movie a year ago but still cant let it go from my head and mind. Even while writing this review, I am thinking, yes tonight again M gonna watch this movie.
Shootout at Wadala (2013)
and the shootout goes horibbly wrong
To be honest, I am not charmed by the figure Manya bhai. Dint even liked the movie. I was disappointed as the hope was high from the team of 'shootout at lokhandwala'. I was in Pune then, and that was the first movie I have ever saw in a multiplex and in the shootout scene the sound effect of Dolby was magnificent, which gave a solid feeling of motion play. But this time, not just considering those three inappropriate item numbers, but the whole thing was a 'lil clumsy. The significance behind the title of the movie was a bluff, as the movie length was 2.30 hours and the shoot-out scene was just for 9 minutes 45 seconds. Was that only for choosing one of the best options among the target audience? I guess the only intention of Mr. Gupta or Balaji was to make money out of this, that's why I smelled lack of art. And yes I must say Miss Sunny Leone seems too happy with the commercialized globalization of Indian cinema.
Madras Cafe (2013)
now thats high stuffs
This was beyond my expectation really. When I first saw the trailer I was less interested. All of a sudden I saw the movie without any plan and what a Goosebumps I get just cant explain. The story is based on the assassination of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi by the Tamil tigers and its about the whole conspiracy lies in between. Shoojit Sircar is the most underrated directors in Bollywood i must say. He knows the exact flow of a movie and to push it in which direction, in which way. John Abraham is very much realistic, and the other characters too. The background music, the screenplay, the photography each and everything is just perfect. the story is the main hero in this movie, so I don't want to compare it with my all time favourite Bourne series. But I must admit, this is India and we have a pathetic sensor board for whom The neo realism is absent in most of the Bollywood movies. I would like to thank the whole team of Madras Cafe for making such a bold film. Forget the usual craps of Bollywood and go watch this epic to taste something very much alike Hollywood, something very much fresh and solid without any hazy make up.
And last but not the least, The poetry of Tagore "Where the mind is without fear...." respect. respect. respect.
The Debt (2010)
this is A- class
I always liked Bourne series in the matter of movies where international issued are shared. But after wathich The Debt i came to know where my last choice lacked. This is not only about a serious matter of unfolded history of catching a Nazi devil but the flowing life of three agents and a deep dark secret which they have kept with them for a long time. As the time paases by, they grew ol and realize at the end life never forgive you for your sins, how little or big it is.
I would like to thnx the director and the whole team who have presented a gem in the crisis of now days good international issues movies.
The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
and the epic ends like this..
The first thing I have noticed is,,we got a situation in the movie,,and again and again we struct in it. its beyond a movie,,beyond a story. Its about a hope,,about a regular prayer for the man with a mask for the last 4 years when he was running and dogs and cops were chasing him. After watching the dark knight in 2008,,I became the disciple of Batman. after watching the dark knight rises,,I realized he is god. sometimes when your excitement level cross the limits,,,u cant explain much. Same happens to me. Batman is a normal human being, who inspired us to ask Jesus Christ not to take our sins. He is among and within us showing the way of perfection and purification.
Into the Wild (2007)
Real freedom lies in wildness, not in civilization
This is the synopsis of this movie. though i am not a Sean Penn fan, but this time he came up with a surprise. its a biographical film based on the wild days of Chris MCcandles life. what a young boy do when he just got graduated from college. definitely he starts his career, join a firm or company, make money for a well shaped life, marry a girl to lead a life of typical social human being. but our hero never done that. he wished to lost in the wildness from his early days of school. his parents pathetic relation may be one of the reason which drives him crazy to escape from this mean world where people live having hatred or anger even for their own people. there are people who may criticize MCcandle's life as madness, there are people who dislikes him describing his adventures as foolishness. may be i would also be one of them if I just read a book on him or see a documentary. but this movie is a birds eye. I felt the real freedom is really losing yourself in the wildness. this movie shows how far can a man go to catch the freedom to purify his soul. a must watch for every sensible human being.
Diarios de motocicleta (2004)
this film changed my life in a versatile way.
This is the story of a young boy named ernesto, who was a medical student, and for his last semester intern ship he had to volunteering in a leper colony.and that boy travelled through the entire south America to reach peru to be a volunteer of a leper colony. this movie is based on the road diary written by Che Guevara while his trip, before he became che. Che travelled 14000 kilometre with a byke with his partner Alberto granado and it took around 8 months. while travelling some rural places he witnessed poor people living in a very pathetic condition. he witnessed coal miners having chronic disease. he realized his medical techniques cant solve this problem. he became convinced that the only way to bring about change way by violent revolution. logically this trip drives him to be the most iconic revolutionary in the world. while returning from the trip he includes in his diary "wandering around America has changed me more then i thought, i am not myself any more."
