Murdaugh Murders: Deadly Dynasty (2022)
Why does Netflix keep doing this?
Netflix constantly keeps pumping out what could be a super interesting documentaries but instead it constantly drags them out way too long.
They started this show with a high pace spoiler of what's going to happen, why?! For those that don't know the story it's just ruined half the twists and turns the story will take...
Then the whole first episode, it spends the next 40 minutes going over exactly what it just told us happened, but now much slower...
This had some interesting bits (as someone that didn't know anything about the story), but I just wish Netflix could sort out the pacing of their documentaries and move things along a bit quicker... I watched a YouTube video on the same thing afterwards and it was more interesting and engaging and got all the info in (and more) in 1 30 minute video...
Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
Wow what a film!
One of the best films I've seen in a long time, I didn't even like the original top gun movie from the 80s much, but this was absolutely fantastic. Absolutely worth watching at the cinema.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
I thought it was great fun!
This was one of my favourite films in the MCU. Some totally unique and creative things going on, and I really liked the more horror theme to it. It didn't feel slow at all, was action packed from the start.
The one thing I didn't like was why call one of the characters America? Out of every possible name they could have gone for, they picked a name which kept confusing me... "We need to find America" etc etc.
White Hot: The Rise & Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch (2022)
Netflix has done it again, more woke nonsense.
I thought this was going to be an interesting insight into Abercrombie, how it got started, how it grew etc.. but within the first couple of minutes it's talking about how Abercrombie is so "white" and a "white thing".
Finally after about 10 minutes of this nonsense it actually starts to tell the story about Abercrombie which was interesting, but that didn't last long, maybe 5 minutes... then straight back to woke stuff for the rest of the documentary.
This good parts of this documentary could have been a 5 minute youtube video. I see why Netflix is failing.
