Food for thought and gripping from start to finish
17 January 2024
The atmosphere from the movie was chilling from start to finish. When I saw some of the reviews, it seems like we haven't watched the same movie. I knew nothing of the story, and I was enthralled, saddened, scared and most importantly felt deep empathy for the women who were murdered. And the stars of the story are reporters who so bravely worked to expose these crimes. Unfortunately, something that could have easily happened in 2024., and probably in some parts of the world would be "processed" in the same way... actors were amazing, cinematography so immersive, script was on the level. This movie showed the forgotten trailblazing women reporters and forgotten victims in humane and respectful way.

Lovely and inspiring

Loved this! The only thing that is missing is - more! I wanted this documentary to be longer, to be a series, to hear more stories from the women in the documentary and others! Please make more of this!

Comedies with high emotional intelligence
16 January 2021
Romcoms are not my favourite genre, but Nancy Meyers' are the best of the best. They are intelligent, funny, kind, with well rounded plot and great script and perfectly chosen actors. Loved "The Holiday" and "The Intern". With "It's complicated", I'm definitely a fan of Mrs Meyers work.

This show is like a comfort food
31 October 2020
This is a show that I rewatch whenever I need some "comfort watching". It funny, sometimes silly, always smart and interesting conversations, very relaxing. The concept of the show is genius, just doing what you want to do: drive, enjoy the weather, good food and coffee and just exchange ideas and laughs between friends.

Calling this film a "soap opera" is complete miscomprehension
18 October 2020
A sheer number of society issues this film covered is staggering, and it was done in warm and kind way, with great scenario and good performances from the actors. The only sad thing is that most of the themes they covered are still taboo and unresolved in 2020. Really enjoyable film, glad I had the chance to watch it!
