Elvis (2022)
Amazing Film!
Film was great! Austin Butler talks and sings exactly like Elvis! Film could sometimes be a little hard to keep up with towards the beginning but things settle down into a story. Could of done without some of the portions where they put modern rap as there are plenty of period blues/rock/country/soul music to choose from. Still give a 10/10. I would definitely watch this again.
The Survivor (2021)
Impressive to say the least!
Very few times these days movies simply portray a good story. This movie takes such a unique look at the Holocaust that has never been shown before. If you want to see great acting and superb writing, give The Survivor a watch!
The Velvet Underground (2021)
Best VU Documentary!
I've seen several docs but this one covered a lot of the NYC environment during the time period! Wish Lou, Sterling, and Doug would have been there in the flesh! Very well made and awesome ending. Would definitely recommend to VU and music and art lovers alike!
2025: The World Enslaved by a Virus (2021)
Huh?!
Speaking as a Christian, this may have been one of the worst movies ever created (contesting the likes of the Killer Sofa). Historically speaking, a crisis can and often brings about different degrees of oppression but this was poorly explained (and directed) in this film. And what up with the writing/acting?? Apparently, a major factor of a worldwide persecution is a random, disconnected, and awkward dialogue.
Let It Fall: Los Angeles 1982-1992 (2017)
Awesome!
This was a superb documentary! The doc not only shows the LA riots but the events from the past decades leading up to it. It does a great job of presenting the various perspectives surrounding the era. I really recommend it!
1917 (2019)
Best WWI Movie!
The story is amazing! Completely original and unpredictable! The best part is the cinematography! The film hides cuts and allows a continuous shot throughout. The film makers took especially great care of where the camera is pointing at all times. I highly recommend!
