Everything in this movie you have seen before, the brave kid, the morale mother, the funny uncle, the stupid enemy, the heroes nobody cares for, the heroes there only to make jokes, and the superhero who can do no wrong.

This movie just feels like being made using a boilerplate, nothing new and same boring plot.

You have an item which causes all the bad and nobody is trying to destroy it. In one part of the movie they even forgot about it!

Would ironman forget about the infinity gauntlet?

Much in this movie is about the country? Or place? Called "Kahndaq". But in the last parts of the movie you just feel annoyed about it where you should feel sympathy.

I get why many people nowadays complains about superhero movies, this is why. Too many bad movies where nothing really happens and you seen it all before.

This was a bit weird I must say. You have a couple inventing a time machine in their garage where no one of these persons seems rather intelligent/intellectual/thoughtful or methodical in any form, which you expect from an inventor/scientist right?

Then they have a discussion about testing on organic life or not. The woman clearly say she does not want to while the man insists. Because she is upset with the man she tries the time machine on her self! There is some wrong logic here...

They quickly realize there is something wrong and it takes like one second for the female to find out why looking at the computer screen. They show a simple programmatic loop, which like every dummy programmer can write. So the person who invented a time machine cannot write a simple code loop?

I know every human can make mistakes and she was drunk while she was setting up the test, but come on. If I was to go in the future I would have thought at least something like that through.

Then the problem starts when copies of the woman starting appear in the garden. They end up deciding after a very short discussion that they must kill the copies. The woman having trouble killing herself so the task lands on the man. This part is kinda disturbing to me when they actually makes fun of killing the copies. Maybe this is suppose to be the horror part of the movie... When I watch this part of the movie I thought to myself: would not some neighbor react to like 50 people killed in the garden every day at the same time? I mean their house was not that isolated and you could clearly see the garden from above.

Also they show that the man get rid of the bodies using some acid in the bathtub, but later when they have an argue about the killing he claims the police are gonna put them in jail for all the killing and at the same time he shows that the bodies are stored in a room in the house! You would not be able to live in that house if you have 50 dead bodies in a room. Can you imagine the smell that would cause?

There is also a third person involved in this movie, the financer. He comes around from time to time and states he wants some results, always in a awkward manner. Later on they explains the situation for him and he kinda drops out of the story.

The ending is fine and what you can expect from a time machine movie.

Overall the acting/directing is ok, but in some scenes the special effects are pretty bad. But the conversations between the woman copies are pretty well done.

I was gonna give this a 4 but since it is a comedy I rated it higher to a 5.

I felt like the whole movie was a parody of many other sci-fi movies like Independence Day, Armageddon, Deep Impact and The Matrix. The plot and the dialogues was just very bad and full of cliché.

Dumb things: * How can a fat conspiracy guy end up in a space ship as an astronaut saving the earth without having any kind of education or training?

* The EMP thing just came from an old guy in a wheelchair and apparently he is the only man on earth knowing about this.

* Suddenly there was only one spaceship left on earth, why?

* This is asked in the film itself, why didn't the AI attack earth first? Answer: because it wanted to take out both earth and moon at the same time.

So why leave the humans the opportunity to save it? An AI should be able to figure this out.

* The AI backed off when they switched off the electronics in the space ship, but if it was after humans in the first place, why didnt it just kill them?

I guess the tempo was fast and effects were good so if you dont care about bad plots and bad dialogues then you could maybe enjoy this.

Underrated movie for sure. Yes, the pacing and progress is very slow, but it fits the mood of the movie very well. I think the music was very good too adding more feel to it.

The whole movie is about emotion and deeper meaning so do not expect any action or car chases.

The acting is great imo, even if there are no longer interactions. They are doing their job very good.

Also the story itself is appealing to me, a guy with eternal life falls in love with a woman which makes him slowly die. In order to stay alive he have to stay away from the woman. What would you do?

Definitely worth watching.

Overall a good movie, but the story had too many plot holes.

The main character is supposed to be a descent man but ends up being Rambo and kills half a town with a shotgun without we knowing he was a good shooter or badass at all.

His friend took a hell of a beating with nails in both hands and legs without saying anything or doing anything to him?

The kid running towards a road hoping I guess to be spotted by a CAR? Instead he just runs OVER the road WITHOUT looking for a CAR?

Things like this makes me wonder why not somebody says this during the making of the movie, it is just too weird.

E Lilly did not do much in this film except smoking pot waiting for death and not feeling ill during the whole movie.

Descent movie I think, not that bad as many others think.

First you get the impression it is post apocalyptic, but pretty early you realize the movie is about something else, a criminal dad who obviously have some mental disease that has affected his son for years.

The message of the movie is to believe in the good in life, kinda cliche and not that original. But I think the movie itself was a bit original, which is good.

The plot was horrible. Mark Wahlberg doesn't fit the role any bit. Car chasing scenes and CGI is used totally random.

You got a main villain whos after an egg, which he made himself. First question is, why don't he make another?

They got bullets to capture their memories, but is never used...

Ejiofor is doing a good performance imo. But Wahlberg is so bad. It feels like he don't wanna be in this film.

Another thing, they use their memories to be badass humans right? They can avoid bullets, control machines (magic) and bunch of stuff. But still they build advanced tech to fight for them...no logic.

Movie wasn't horrible, but could have been much much more.

I was looking forward to a great space science fiction movie. It had some elements from space yes, but at a minimum. Instead I got a bunch of teenagers fighting amongst themselves on a spaceship. Same story could have happened in a classroom on earth.

The main plot was secondary and we only see 5 seconds of it.

Colin Farrell, should have been used more.

When I watched this movie I felt it was building up to something. Then the shooting happened and I was like "is it over?". Then there was a final scene and I was waiting for a twist, but no. I went here and checked if I missed something, but no. Really strange movie, maybe it was supposed to be longer and they ran out of money or something. Surely feels like it.

Also I wondered why she kept on having problems after she stopped taking the medicine? Also the baby that died was named Chloe, why did she not change her name before the final scene?

Was looking for a good space movie...the first scene made me lose my interest right from the start. When the spaceship is accelerating, they actually mad eit look like wind was blowing inside the ship...

The movie and acting was good, but I think the plot was weak. Like if Elijah was so smart, why did he plan his own death? Wouldn't he want to stay alive? His death had no purpose, he could have spread the movie anyway...

I think Bruce Willis did get too few lines in this movie and James McAvoy got too many, even if he is a great actor. Also Samuel L. Jackson was mute almost half the movie...

When they are killing David, the son is doing nothing! NOTHING! If I saw my dad being killed I would at least TRY to stop them. Later we see the son react and he just push the killers...

Good movie overall, but could have been better imo.
