El guardián invisible (2017)
Had potential but ended up wet and in the rain
Cinematography was excellent, great premise, would've liked to see more of the mythology tied into the plot. Kinda plot dump in the end, development of the antagonist and weaving that into the mythology may have played better. Excellent acting, kinda wonder how much rain this place gets, always seemed to be a downpour, made for an added sense of somber ness with the storyline. Maybe add in a bit about why her family was so dysfunctional and how that led to the ensuing events. Solid enough that I'll drive through the trilogy, some of these problems may be addressed in the ensuing episodes so yeah, it's worth it!
Vivarium (2019)
Excellent documentary on current housing
Outstanding documentary exposing the trickery into our current housing economy, hits a little hard even more, as the late great James Douglas Morrison once said, "each house repeats a mold."
We Die Young (2019)
Speechless performance
I was left without words after the performance of JCVD! The performance took the words right out of my mouth and left me speechless for a fortnight! The premise was solid, kinda like a remake of Fresh, but missed on the landing a touch, overall not a bad flick, would have like to seen a bit more interweaving of the plot, mostly trach care issues.
