Irresistible (2020)
Had a LOT to say about the current political situation
As we approach election time 2020 and all the rancor that is contained therein--this movie REALLY hit home with me! It's more about winning than it is about REALLY trying to help and make a difference! This movie was really a commentary on a commentary and I really enjoyed the peak into the behind the scenes politics! The scene with the nuns was truly a laugh out loud scene!
Searching (2018)
REALLY Enjoyable Movie
Very pleasantly surprised by how good this movie was! Extremely thrilling and exciting without being way over the top. If you get a chance--SEE this movie!
The Miracle Season (2018)
Love true stories like this!
I loved SO much about this movie! Unfortunately some of the things left me flat. A lot of the volleyball scenes felt very staged and some scenes did not feel well acted. If you like true stories and/or sports movies--then I think you will enjoy the movie. This movie had the makings to be a 10--just fell a little short of the goal!
Certain Women (2016)
What the heck was that???
One of the most pointless movies I have ever witnessed! There was NO ending whatsoever. I am pretty sure the title SHOULD have been, "Boring Women"! The characters never really intersected, the entire movie was pointless! If you EVER get a chance to see this movie--DON'T! Run away! Far, Far Away! The review asks if the review contains any spoilers--how can you spoil an absolutely pointless movie?
To End All Wars (2001)
Inspiring Movie
We recently watched three movies about the building of the Trans-Burma Railway: The Bridge on the River Kwai; The Railway Man; and To End All Wars. All three movies were great in their own right but THIS movie moved me and inspired me in a way that few movies have! It is a GREAT movie, seems to be VERY historically accurate, and is well made and well acted!
That we could all learn these lessons in our every day life!
