Absolutely the most hilarious star-studded movie I have ever seen. I saw it when it first was released in1963 and have seen it a number of times since (last-Jan 15, 23' on PBS). I will never tire of it as it brings laughs constantly thru ought the whole movie. If there are any editing boo boos (and I saw several), it doesn't phase me one bit as the action moves too quickly to even be concerned. I was so surprised at the vast number of famous stars (now mostly deceased) with each one adding his or her own characteristic touch even if only a cameo appearance. I don't rate many movies a 10, but this one gets mine without question. This movie is a Classic of course, but I am afraid it may have more appeal to us Boomers than is relative to comedy aficionados today. I still recommend it being seen by anyone who wants wall to wall laughs.

The first 35 minutes were simply boring...then the gore begins...just globs of crawling goo, a humanoid-like figure here and there, lots of blood and guts. There is little to no similarity to the original "The Thing", No sense of anything with a plot., the acting is 3 on a scale of 1-10. I would recommend not wasting your time. Don't make me tell you, "I told you so".... PASS.....

If you are an analytical critic of B-type Sci-Fi flicks of this monster type, you will tear this movie apart with negative comments. However if you are more relaxed and love the type of excitement and horror of the good ol' days, you will enjoy this one. Pop some corn, get a soda pop.....and enjoy.

Just kind of Bla....no thrills or excitement here. If you are looking for real Sci-Fi, this is not a movie I woud recommend. There are some tense moments, but alas....no biggies..

I loved this film. Brings you back to a time of peace, love, joy and happiness. Will pull you out of a slump.

Call me old school....But I was kept on the edge of my seat from the beginning of the hijacking to end of the movie.....Great acting, especially Joe and Omid....Great story line and directing.....

One of the dumbest SciFi's I have seen.......Except for afew new monsters....

What kind of decadent crap has prime-time TV sunk to? Is there no end to the ratings game? Are we going to continue to warp the minds of our young people...making them think this kind of sh** is normal for family entertainment? Some TV executives with any sense besides ($$$) profit needs to step up and say "enough is enough"...But that will never happen as long as the money rolls in.....The whole industry needs to re-evaluate the ratings for wholesomeness that is sorely lacking these days....Why do I need to come up with 10 lines of BS just to meet your stupid standards? You need to change your rules... 10 lines 10lines 10 lines 10 lines.....
