I Ride (2013)
One of the best Biker Movies ever!
This is America, this is Biker Culture.
A must see!!!
Never have I seen a documentary that feels as much as a movie and gives an insight into the real world of biker culture.
Through the eyes and music of The Fryed Brothers Band, I RIDE will take you on an illuminating road trip through the biker world: bare knuckle fights you actually sign up for, wild bar-b-ques and camp outs, and partying raw and rowdy at some of the biggest hard core biker festivals. This trip will wind up at Sturgis, South Dakota for a Fryed Brother Band performance to end all performances.
I RIDE features The Fryed Brothers Band, Willie Nelson, Sonny Barger, Pat Simmons, Steve "Beatnik Werner, Miles Squire, Dave Nichols, Steve Schapiro, many other stars of the Biker Culture and Music Scene around it and tons of cool Bikes!
Cinematography, Music and storytelling are excellent.
I can only say: Get on. Hold Tight. Shut Up. Watch I Ride Now!
Enjoy the ride!
Who the Hell Is Tony Green? (2011)
Cultural Gem about New Orleans, Jazz and Art
Who the Hell is Tony Green is a unique documentary by a local New Orleans independent filmmaker about a unique local Musician and Artist Tony Green.
It's a super low budget movie but it's an enjoyable ride through a unique city telling the story of Tony Green, a New Orleans artist, musician, patriot and independent thinker.
Tony Green was born in Italy, grew up in New Orleans, and has traveled the world with his Gypsy Jazz, portraits and perspective.
I didn't agree with his perspective but I respect them and definitely enjoyed his wonderful art and music.
This is not only a documentary of his art, music, politics and unique life but also a love story about a wonderful city.
