Paul Mooney delivers again
17 April 2010
I read the review of the previous poster, please lighten up! Paul Mooney is hilarious. I saw him first on the now canceled, Dave Chapelle show on a segment called, "Ask a Black Dude." I was laughing constantly. He doesn't just poke fun at "white people" as the other reviewer says, he also lampoons his own race and has gotten heat for doing that in another stand up before this. He talks about everything from Whitney Houston on coke to Obama being elected. It takes place in a famous strip club in Dallas called "The Lodge," so there is nudity every now and then. If offensive language bothers you and nudity, then you might not want to watch, if you're immune to that and mature, you may just have a good laugh.

Freddy Got Fingered and We Got Suckered
28 March 2004
This has got to be one of the worst films I have had the misfortune to see in two decades. There is absolutely no reason to watch it, and if you're not brain-dead, you'll probably turn it off thirty minutes in. The so-called humor is not only gross and juvenile, but pointless, and has absolutely nothing to do with the story. It's beyond infantile, and worse yet, it's just not funny. Tom Green needs to stick with the television show gig and stay out of film. I won't waste time describing the plot because as I mentioned, there is none. He was obviously making a lame attempt to copy the original classic 'The Jerk' with Steve Martin. That was funny, rent it, not this. The only thing you'll waste is two hours of your life.
