Phil of the Future (2004)
Great!
This show was really funny. Sure, the characters may be weird, the plot's unoriginal...but who cares? I personally thought this was very funny. It's great, and I hope it lasts. Really, though, it's hilarious! Phil (Ricky Ullman) does a great job as the protagonist in the story. Alyson Michalka is awesome as Keely. Pim (Amy Bruckner), while not being the best character, is still pretty good and gives a lot of humor to the show. Maybe I'm biased because I've liked every Disney live-action show since Even Stevens, but I think that fans of those shows will appreciate Phil, too. It may be a little sci-fi, but not too much, at least for me. Watch this show.
You'll love it!
Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd (2003)
Awful.
Maybe I am just a caring person, but I thought this movie was overall not funny and insulting to special ed kids. It's one thing to make a brief reference (as was done in "Agent Cody Banks"), but this movie was just over the top. Do the producers not know that special ed kids have their own feelings? I have worked with some and know that they enjoy movies...but they probably hate this one. This could have been a lot better if they had left the special ed jokes out. Profanity was moderate, sexual content was there, but the special ed jokes outweigh all of those. Do NOT show this to a special ed kid. They will be insulted.

That's So Raven (2003)
It gets better...
I have to admit, when I first saw the previews for this show, I thought it looked dumb. Anneliese (Chelsea) came off as a Lalaine (Miranda on "Lizzie McGuire") wannabe. Raven came off as a diva. The music video wasn't too good. I still don't like the theme song all that well, even though I sing along just because I know the words (I have issues ;]). The show is cool, though. Raven's character may be somewhat like a diva, but Chelsea is NOTHING like Miranda. Miranda was never that stupid or that funny. The first episode everyone in America saw where she dresses up as her mom was funny at first, but after watching it once every weekend, it became old. The episodes that hooked me were the wrong Spanish answers one ("Just do...the best...you can..." Oh, you've gotta see it.) and the one starring Kirsten Storms (from the "Zenon" movies). This show is great. However, one thing I do wish is that they wouldn't leave Chelsea out of some episodes totally. Chelsea is, no question, THE BEST CHARACTER on the whole show (and she's pretty, too ;]) All in all, a good show. (10/10)
Cheaper by the Dozen (2003)
HILARIOUS!
This movie is great. There are some really funny scenes in here, but I'm not going to give them away. As far as profanity, there is very little. Parents will have to note that, in the beginning of the movie, the mom of the twelve kids (played by Bonnie Hunt) mentions how they were made (which is why the MPAA said it had "thematic elements.") Aside from that, this movie is great. One more thing: All you Hilary Duff fans (of which I am one) may be disappointed because the focus of the movie is more on the parents than the kids. But, if you like funny family movies, you won't care!
