The Cold Light of Day (2012)
Don't listen to haters
Everyone bashes every film these days.. *sigh* The movie is brilliant, great acting throughout the film, epic and thrilling action sequences, and a good story. The writing was solid and the direction was great. I will now talk about each main actors skill in the film. Henry Cavill: Extremely solid acting, Cavill has really shown that he is an incredible actor in everything he's in. Is best films so far are Man of Steel and most certainly The Cold Light of Day. He played his character perfectly. Bruce willis: Didn't expect him to be in the film for only the first 20 minutes but he was great non-the-less. Sigourney Weaver: Fricking bad*ss as usual. The film had twists that I didn't see coming, I love that in a film. The twist and the confusion of who was good who was bad in the beginning was exciting for sure. The action was intense as was the stunts. Action: gun action, chase scenes on foot, and chase scenes with cars, both done really well. The car chase scenes were brilliant and full of action and excitement, cars being crashed, guns being fired, all and all perfection. Stunts: the stunts were thrilling! So exciting! The dangling from a building, jumping scenes, chase scenes and car stunts were all really great.
All and all I don't see why all the hate! Story: 10/10 Direction:10/10 Cast: 10/10 Writting:10/10
Pretty generous ratings but anything I LOVE gets 10.
Vehicle 19 (2013)
Don't listen to haters, they suck
I'm the on giving the highest rating of any of the other reviewers here. There's a LOT of hate towards this film but I loved it! PG-13 should be the rating because there isn't anything gruesome or bad in it! Action packed and thrilling, it kept me excited and on the edge of my seat the entire time. The acting was great! Besides Paul Walker(RIP) the cast was unknown. And they rocked! The director and producers did a great job too! The look and feel of it was great also. Th exotic foreign city was nice and a location I've never seen in a movie before! Loved it and I will be watching it again!
9 out of 10 stars.
Alone for Christmas (2013)
Wonderful film
As the title says, wonderful film full of laughs that will keep you smiling the entire time. Including a wonderful cast such as David DeLuise(Wizards Of Waverly Place), Davis Cleveland(Shake It Up), Kevin Sorbo(Hercules), & Chris Kattan(SNL). The dogs are great for dog lovers, and are really cute. The criminals are funny but scary, just like the ones in the Home Alone films. Speaking of which, it is basically another addition to the Home Alone movie series, except instead of a kid kicking the criminal's butts, its dogs. Wonderful idea and nicely filmed. I hope for a sequel for sure!
Any lover of Family comedy's, or lover of "The Home Alone Series" will LOVE this film.
R.I.P.D. (2013)
Great movie!
Do NOT listen to the idiots that say this movie was bad, Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges were freaking epic in this movie. great action, good CGI, interesting story, well written, AND James Hong! enough said.
I see nothing wrong with Reynolds in any of his movies, and I'm really sick of hearing bad reviews saying he sucks.
James Hong was in it... automatically awesome.
Jeff Bridges is epic in anything, and did a great job in this film.
what I didn't like? Nothing, I loved the movie.
I give it 8 out of 10 stars, and I went to see it twice! The only reason its not 10 out of 10 is because I feel there are more epic movies such as Man of Steel, and The Amazing Spider-Man.
