Jurassic World Dominion (2022)
Very silly film, gets better as it goes.
I nearly gave up early on but stuck with it, once I had got used to just how silly it was though I started to enjoy it.
The Dinosaurs do seem to have the advantage over the humans on the brains front though. I had to wonder if the script might have been a little better if the large beasties had of been given some kind of writing role.
There does seem to be some reluctance to shoot dinosaurs, I would have thought this was the way to go when the crafty little devils are trying to eat you. Tazers seem to be the weapon of choice though, best to get close up and personal I guess, give them a sporting chance and all that.
Suspend all belief, marvel at the awful script and cheer the dinosaurs on. 5 stars.
The Witcher (2019)
Gradually goes downhill, don't bother starting it.
I had held of watching this, never read the books, never played the games and consider much fantasy fair as being poor.
The first series though I thought was pretty good, a solid 6 to 7. Entertaining.
Series two, not so good but a 5.
Series three, struggled to get past half way through the first episode but persevered, half way through the second episode just couldn't take anymore. It gas just gone to cheese.

Around the World in 80 Days (2021)
Obviously the original story was no good.
Tick list.
1. Story nothing like book.
2. Characters nothing like book.
3. No historical accuracy.
A great book about responsibility from the main character (who is vilified here because he is French), and a mixed race love story. Surely nothing needed changing here for the modern world.
Instead we get this cheapness, disgusted.
Midnight Mass (2021)
Excellent
Started well and then like most series from Netflix it seemed to loose its way after a few episodes when the bloodsucker was introduced.
I stick with it and it was worth it, the best series I have seen on Netflix.
I see there are reviews here saying it is anti religion or anti Christianity but I don't see it that way, it is about corruption, about how religion can be corrupted not a statement on religions worth.
Well worth watching.
The War of the Worlds (2019)
Shame they didn't read the book.
Total tosh.
I have some advise for the BBC, next time you want to dramatise a classic novel get some people to actually read it.
