My Mother's Stalker (2019)
It's just a typical lifetime movie of the week
It's just what you expect out of lifetime television. It wasn't necessarily a bad movie. It's just I didn't really care for the ending. I am just feel like the movie gave itself away a little bit too much with who the stocker was at the beginning.
What really throws a movie off from the get-go was the detective. I don't know if the actors playing her is related to some head honcho that was in charge of this movie or was she cast because the fact that she was the mean kid obviously in school that had to have a way all the time. Try to show all of us in life that if your main person this is what you end up turning into. I just know that her and pardon me for saying that because I'm not trying to be pointing the woman's age out but she seems like she's the same age as the victims mother. Not someone who is going to their 20th High school reunion. Also didn't like the fact that the woman acted like she was the one had a right to be angry to the point she was very high and mighty about it. If anyone has a right to be angry it was the main character. I was really hoping for the ending where the detective was trying to frame this woman and she got busted. I'm highly disappointed that the doctor ended up being the one that was actually to kill.
Loophole (2019)
I believe it's a wonderful movie.
Considering the fact of this movie was made less than a month, in West Virginia. An the lead actress in this movie was only 15 years old playing a 22-year-old. Not to mention it was only her third movie that she ever made. She did a wonderful job.
I do find it kind of sad that some of the reviews that was given about this movie, was based by people who are negative about religion and the Bible. A few people made a comment I've only given a few minutes before they came with their opinions. I feel bad for them because if they saw the movie from start to finish, they would've realize that despite the fact that there was talk about the Bible and political stuff wrapped around it. Not to mention yes it was a low budget movie and except for a couple of actors I've seen in TV and movie over the years, The rest of the cast is fairly new to the business. Then yet, they did a wonderful job. There was also some great special facts for low budget movie. It was too bad that the people who only gave it eight minutes didn't sit through it. They missed a great movie.
I also, like at the end the credit was rolling that they point out that the lead character was talking to her grandfather about writing a script. The grandfather asked Lexi, " why did you write this?" Her answer was, " I wanted to write using three of my favorite things; bible, books in video games." The only time it really got religious was when the grandfather had pointed out about how the coming of Christ would happen is based on the Bible scripture.
Furthermore, there's all types of people in this world that like different things. People who are nonbelievers trashing people who may like a movie about God or about the Bible itself. That's just wrong. No one likes it when people who are religious protest against X-rated movie places for example. So why would anybody want to trash a movie because they put the Bible or religion into the movie. Also, christians like science fiction just as much as they like any other type of movie if nonbelievers took the time to look at channels that are designed for Christian television, like PureFlix for example. They would know that christians are just like everybody else. They like science fiction just as much as they like drama, comedy or even prime time soap operas. They usually have a little bit of a Christian-based to it but most the time it is not preaching. It's just a form of entertainment just like people who prefer to watch Indy films .
