Royal Crackers (2023)
So good
I have no problem guaranteeing any negative reviews come from someone who was in a bad mood and gave up minutes in, or hates their life in general.
This show is ridiculously funny. If you actually like comedy and are down for some absurd jokes, you'll love it.
Incredible voice casting. Comedy fans will recognize most characters just by their voice. After checking the cast list you'll recognize even more.
Episode 5 is one of the best episodes of adult animation I've ever seen. Beyond hilarious, Oscars should be given to genius like this.
So stop hating because you don't understand how to have fun. Do your best to enjoy your life. This show will help.
Road House (2024)
Joke House
There is no possible scenario in which anyone involved in this movie thought they were making something good.
I fully believe they secretly and purposely made some kind of spoof movie to see how everyone would react.
There are barely any scenes that could possibly happen in reality.
Did they really expect people to believe a giant bar right on the Florida coast would be subject to this ridiculous nonsense?
Fights breaking out every second of every day...even at lunchtime?? Haha.
Also weird they'd have incredible bands willing to play at a place like this.
The owner seems to be loaded beyond belief. Forget the music, how could she possibly pay him 20k a month to bounce??
Horrifically bad movie if they actually tried.
I laughed my way through it.
Painkiller (2023)
Solid series, message is irrelevant
I like the cast they assembled. Especially Matthew Broderick's acting, in one of the main roles.
Just not sure what the point of the story is. The drug was approved and made available for doctors to prescribe for serious medical issues involving pain. Obviously some doctors took advantage of the situation, but the medication did what it was supposed to do. And when it comes to addiction, there are endless drugs, legal or not, that people can't stop themselves from taking. Becoming addicted to the point that it destroys your life is on you, not the people who make it. Prescriptions, alcohol, pain killers, whatever... that's on you.
Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities (2022)
By far the best horror anthology
I had a rule about not giving out a 10, but I think this series really deserves it.
Most anthologies are cheap garbage and hugely disappointing. Especially when it comes to horror. Every bit of these first 4 episodes is very well done. Acting, writing, directing, and effects are some of the best I've ever seen. I hope this opens a whole new world for the genre.
I cannot think of anything even close to as good besides parts of the original Twilight Zone series and movie. And this is way beyond that.
If you love horror and have always waited for the perfect series, this is it.
Enjoy and be amazed. This is an absolute game changer.
Dashcam (2021)
I refuse to believe anyone enjoyed any part of this
Definitely up there for the worst "movie" I've ever seen. I don't even know what I watched.
The main character is the single most annoying and horrible person I've ever witnessed. I wish she would have died in the first minute. I hope she's just the best actor in the world and nothing like that in real life. But I wouldn't bet on it.
Why her "friend", who she completely screws over the minute she gets to his place and every chance she gets, decides to try to help her in any way is beyond confusing .
He had multiple chances to ditch her and some very, very obvious reasons to get out of the situation.
I'm positive they made this huge pile of garbage just to annoy people and get reviews like this. So, you're welcome.
JoJo no Kimyô na Bôken (2012)
This show is a nightmare.
I know what a lot of you are doing. This show and others like bebop are "cool" to watch. Stop faking it and admit how bad they are.
I've watched dozens of anime series. This is definitely one of the worst. It's emotionally painful to watch and bad for everyone's mental health.
Pretty sure EVERY character makes the WORST possible decision in EVERY moment. And this is supposed to be fun to watch??
I've watched a bunch of random episodes from earlier seasons. Boring.
I forced myself to watch the first 9 episodes of season 5 (it was not easy).
I'm completely missing why I should care about anything that happens.
Dumbest characters and story ever drawn.
Echoes (2022)
Lifetime movie/soap opera
It really is that bad. Has a Netflix budget so it appears like it's worth watching. Spoiler, it's not.
The entire premise is beyond unbelievable. Endless, ridiculous twists that wouldn't happen in any version of reality.
If you like insane garbage, you'll love this.
Office Invasion (2022)
I apologize, what am I missing?
I couldn't take it after the first 20 minutes. Is it supposed to be funny or just crazy awkward?
Not one line or scene would ever take place in real life. Which isn't always a problem in movies...if they're funny in any way.
I'm really trying my best to understand how anyone involved in this movie thought a single bit of it was working.
The Lake (2022)
Why were these writers hired?
Watched the first 3 episodes hoping it would get better. It doesn't.
Nearly every scene and line of dialogue would NEVER happen in any version of the universe. EVER. Yet it's shot as believable real life.
I don't understand why shows like this are made. Unrealistic doesn't begin to describe it.
Close Enough (2020)
Regular Show... adult style
Close Enough is exactly what you hoped an adult version of Regular Show would be. There's something about JG's style that is undeniably fun.
You're not going to laugh yourself to death or snort chocolate milk out of your nose. It's just a really good time you can't explain.
I loved Regular Show in my 20s. Now that I have a kid, this is perfect.
Halloween Kills (2021)
This movie cannot be explained
What a mess. I was really paying attention in that first 20-30 minutes, and I can't make any sense of it. I've never seen such a weird series of time jumps and old clips.
And the town going completely insane out of nowhere...what was that about?
But I might be most curious about the casting. Definitely one of the strangest groups I've ever seen.
The only positives were the kills and that Michael always comes back.
Scream (2022)
What did I miss?
There must be some kind of viral joke I missed. Where people think it's funny to give this movie good reviews.
This is a real dumpster fire. It's like the writers and producers drew names out of a hat to decide what happened in every scene. And yet it still wasn't surprising in any way.
Not as bad as Halloween Kills, but still awful.
Intersect (2020)
Great for the money
A bit confusing at times, but they clearly didn't have much of a budget. For me, anything with science, time travel, or space is always enjoyable in some way. Pretty interesting story and a few cool effects. I like finding these small, random films. They did the best they could and I enjoyed it.
Jigeum uri hakgyoneun (2022)
Why why why is everyone so helpless?
I'd love to give this series an 8 or more. It had potential. Unfortunately, nearly every decision the characters make is beyond stupid. They all deserve to die. And multiple people should be fired... director, producers, writers.
The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window (2022)
Who's up for the worst series ever!!
Beyond horrible. Nothing makes any sense. The characters and story contradict themselves constantly. Not a parody or dark comedy. Just 8 episodes of a hallucination/dream sequence.
There is no way they can write themselves out of this. The second season will be one 3 minute episode saying it never happened.
Nobody (2021)
So that's who taught John Wick
If you gave this movie anything less than a 7, you should have your tv taken away for life. You don't deserve enjoying film of any kind.
So much fun, even better than I hoped it would be. Like the Wick series, which I love, but with more creativity.
Bob Odenkirk pulled it off perfectly.
Mother/Android (2021)
Could have been interesting, mostly infuriating.
Two of the dumbest people on Earth try to survive an AI apocalypse.
When you watch something and say "no one would ever do that" with nearly every decision made.
Considering the character development, the ending is so far over the top it feels like a completely different movie.
Marathon Man (1976)
Horrible acting, sign of a transition.
I'm not sure how you're supposed to follow this plot or appreciate anything. Theatrical, way over the top reactions with no chance at a relationship with the characters. I'm surprised this movie is known at all.
Ojing-eo geim (2021)
Different Alice in Borderland
Really enjoyed the series. Probably would have given it a 9...that ending though.
The Suicide Squad (2021)
Everyone is joking... right?
I don't know the comics or anything else that was published before the two movies. Maybe the premise is they're all complete idiots, with a tiny bit of skill when it's convenient.
Doesn't really matter when most of you are lying to yourselves. The first one was a decent attempt to be serious with some different characters. The second was a super weak Deadpool imitation, with no one to care about.
Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021)
The hate is hilarious
The original Space Jam has always been in the running for worst movie ever. It's beyond horrible. This is not nearly as bad. And, obviously, Lebron is a much better actor than Michael. Get over yourselves for a minute and try to have some fun with your kids.
A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)
The hate towards this movie is laughable.
I love the original. But this is simply a better movie. From start to finish it's not even close. Stay in the 80s if you want something corny. If you saw this one with no history, you would giggle your way through the 84. Plenty of jump scares and the steak knife opening is great. Get over the nostalgia dbs.
Mare of Easttown (2021)
Very well done, for a story with no ending.
They draw you in with a mystery...or two or three or more. And the reveal is nearly every character is a lying, selfish pos with zero intent to tell the truth or help anyone in any way. Garbage writing at it's best.
Mortal Kombat (2021)
Was that intentional?
I'm still processing, not really sure what happened there. It was as corny and cheap looking as the original. The only difference is they sacrificed any acceptable acting for some swearing and bad cgi. Maybe that was their intention...as opposed to making a more serious movie that had the possibility of being considered good. It sucked. 5/10 seems generous.
Homemade (2020)
Hope you enjoy it
Netflix held a Worst Short Film contest...and everyone won. It's so bad I'm not sure what to say, just horrible throughout. And to the only other comment, talking about the third episode...I was interested because I have a 5 year old. That had to be the most disconnected and empty 4 minutes ever put on film. I'm giving it an extra star because I guess they tried.
