The Man from Toronto (2022)
So unmemorable I forgot I had watched it before.
This movie is so boring I forgot I had watched it before. Now that I've watched it a second time and I can really see why. Low performance from the actors, effects were terrible and the plot dragged on. I know how some people complained about The Return of the King having multiple endings, well this one had too many.
Warrior Nun (2020)
Could be better
The concept is pretty good. This show would benefit from better writing. The teen angst and dragging on the main character's development needs to be sorted out. Many other reviewers have already spoken about that so I'll just leave it at that. What annoys me is how the characters travel around in public with swords and knives out in the open and, even fight with no one in the public batting an eye. How is she able to travel with no proper ID and no money. Let alone a girl who was bed ridden for years has the musculature of a normal person... There are so many details that are overlooked and brushed over that just insults the viewer. I hope the producers sort out the writers.
Strike Back: Revolution: Part 9 (2019)
Disjointed
Yes it is my first review on any show or movie. I had to do this as I really enjoy Strike Back as a very entertaining show but... Season 7 episode 9 has to be the most disjointed episode I have ever watched. Don't get me wrong, the actors are doing a great job. They were trained by the best and do the job that makes it feel real. This episode went all wonky with the timeline. I went back to episode 8 to make sure I was not on crack. It's is a dysfunctional episode that was put together at the last second. This is ruining the effort put on on the shoulders of the actors filling the boots of the team that was before them.
Stop trying to throw drama, action, sex and intrigue all willy nilly just to get attention. Do the work as hard as your actors are, because you are not keeping up.
