Britney vs Spears (2021)
Extreme psycho fandom battles truth
Two Britney fans make a doc about the severity of the conservatorship but leave out (intentionally) everything that shows Britney's true colors from those around. Highlights shady aspects, but makes these worse by ignoring Britney's real issues. 2 years later we are able to see the truth of her issues. Super fans just wanted their shot of fame and ignored all serious issues for the health of the one person they "wanted to protect".
Surprised this director is still getting documentaries. I don't discredit their whole want/need to spread information....just question the fact that they kept key details and photos out to not allow the audience to make their own perception.
Mike (2022)
Excellent telling of his journey
Undisputed Truth was an amazing book in which Mike gave full input on. This series seems to replicate the storyline and ideals from that book. Although Mike Tyson is not happy about his non-inclusion in this show, I think even he will accept it and like it after he watches. The first two episodes were great and hopefully it continues on that path.
I only gave a 9/10 because I felt Cus' father-type relationship towards Mike needed to be shown more for viewers to understand the impact of his loss on Mike. Yes, there was a lot shown, but perhaps Mike himself in his own actions, created other storylines throughout his tumultuous career/life that will take more screen time then what justly should have been.
