Fist Fight (2017)
How did this not go straight to DVD
I liked the look of this film with a good cast and the trailers looked okay but it couldn't further from my first impression, it is truly terrible in every way.
It's not funny and it is hard to like any of the characters, the premise is of the film is like they have taken from a bad 80s movie but not added any of the charms from this era.
Stay away from this film and definitely don't spend any money to watch it, you will want a refund.
Suicide Squad (2016)
Starts well and gets progressively worse
I went to see this after hearing a few bad reviews, I was always going to see it at the cinema anyway in the hope that I would enjoy it as I have most of the comic book films.
When it started they built up the characters well and it had a good mix of humour and action, but it went down hill quickly after the start.
I thought Margot Robbie stole the show with Will Smith not far behind they were true to their characters in the comics and without them I would have left the cinema early.
I hated the version of the Joker that Jarrard Leto portrayed, what he was trying to do was nothing like the vision I have ever had for the Joker, I have always been sceptical when a different actor takes on this role but have always been impressed until now.
I hope there are no more of these films, but it would be good to get Margot Robbie playing Harlequin again in a Batman film.
Better Call Saul (2015)
So far so good.
Being a massive Breaking Bad fan I was quite excited and hesitant they had decided to do a spin-off, but right from the start I found this to be compelling and engaging.
Saul Goodman was a great character in Breaking Bad but he only got limited screen time and so it is hard to know if he is just a novelty character or if the writers can give him some real depth and not take away from the original story, but they have managed to do that and more.
I would recommend this to any Breaking Bad fans, the only downside is there is only one episode a week.
Ashes to Ashes (1999)
So bad, the only good reviews on here must be buy the director
How has this film got anything above one star, the acting is poor the story line is as best weak and the ending is shocking.
When fighting with weapons you can see it bend as its made out of plastic.
it is a self indulgent film with no entertainment value whatsoever, the actors who are in this would not show this to anyone if they want to build up a credible CV to get other parts.
And don't get me wrong a love a movie that is rubbish but knows it but this is another level of bad.
Good luck if you decide to watch this and remember I did warn you.
