Male characters are lost (Daniel, BB, ...), jerks (Ward) or evil (Davos, Yang).

Female characters are enlightened (Wing), brave (Walker, Knight, even Joy) or wise leaders (Yang, the AA sponsor).

The Iron Fist, who spent many years training in a monastery achieving a level so high that he could literally beat a dragon, is in need of a master (Wing) whose highest achievement has been teaching in a NY dojo... Daniel decides that she deserves the Iron First more than him. Without having had to beat a dragon. It makes no sense, it is unbearable.

Luke Skywalker should have been an example of how powerful a jedi master can end up being. Instead, he was used to show how powerful the new generation was. I would have liked him to be even beyond the level of snoke. what an enormous waste. I simply have no interest in seeing episode IX

It is a nice show.

JCVD was always a black ops, acting being his cover. He gets back after retirement.

Some scenes are great. Timecop vs Looper in the pilot being my favorite so far.

Reasons why this superman film underperformed (once more):

1) The plot did not bring out the epic character of the hero and even contained some very stupid lines: "Evolution always wins", "I'm laughing because he's hot", ...

2) The superman character is very different from the one in the comics, who would have never been destroying buildings while about a million people dies as a consequence. The lead author is good, but created a character with way too high testosterone levels. This is of course a shared responsibility with the director.

3) The new metallic look of Krypton is quite unattractive. I much prefer the crystal fortress theme of the original film.

4) The explanation for superman powers is again quite stupid. A scientific adviser would have come out with a more plausible one. Also, there was nothing really special about him, but won a field general. This should have explained much better.

I was truly disgusted at the attempt of justifying the behaviour of hoodies in the UK. Four of our five "heroes" live with their parents and are well provided for. The fifth thug (Moses) lives by himself and this is supposed to justify the fact that he put a knife to a woman with the help of his friends. If you can have an education and instead of making the most of it choose to become a ridiculous brain-dead thug, do not blame the police, the establishment or the bloody aliens. If you want to know who is guilty, find yourself a mirror. If your parents are so useless that are unable to control or even find out what their children are after, then they should be heavily fined. There is no excuse: you get what you deserve. To make things worse, Moses had a "intellectual" moment and claims that aliens have been brought by the police to kill black people in the same way that drugs were introduced for the same purpose. What a phenomenal moron!
