The Sopranos: Commendatori (2000)
Con te partirò
It's 30 min past the beggining and it's already the third time bocelli's score begins to play. Is it supposed to be funny? Because I think it's ridiculous and hilarious. It's amazing to rewatch the sopranos because it's easier to catch these hysterical, brilliant moments, like the fact that the old fart mafioso keeps relying on the only english he has - the street names. Lol.
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life (2016)
poorly written, made just for money. cashed in!
I won't spend much time writing this as i've read wonderful reviews below (or above. who cares) that will be way better than mine. i'm writing because the rating is misleading. it should be way lower.
rory is a JOKE. period. why making her a brilliant, smart, first-of-her-class student to leave her as editor for SH gazette? "by the sake of full circling" ok but why? ASP hates pregnancy. it seems that she loves to punish every female character by being pregnant and ruining their lives. (lorelai! sherry! lane! rory!) the paul joke was NEVER funny and Rory, who used to be soooo entitled, was born to be the mistress as it seems. one thing is for sure: ASP HATES Rory. she loathes her character so much! she turned Rory into a big big loser.
lorelai and luke have clearly no chemistry and it's pretty clear the actors could car less for each other. cringy.
plus, lorelai is still acting like a child, no surprises. i feel bad for lauren because it seems that she has not time to prepare herself (or her image in that matter) so in the first episode her face is so weird and swollen from fillers. Gah! aging sucks.
luke is 60yo and still wears a hat. WHY. the flannels would be ok but the hat is just ridiculous. these people should have grown up.
I still love Emily. Paris is always and have always been my MVP. liza is a great actress.
as for the rest, I could care less. I have already forgotten their appearances.
btw, I ff>> both musicals. when a should is so poorly written as this revival was, maybe you would think about screening a 15' musical is a bit of in-your-face that they were struggling with content. people are passionate fans, but overall not stupid.
