Babysitting 2 (2015)
The fail sequel
13 August 2017
As often happens, sequels are generally duds and this movie does not escape that rule. The title has lost its meaning, the jokes are so predictable and the acting, pretending the improvisation, is weak. Most of this footage is filling time with useless gags. I felt the pressure of the producers and the banksters to realize a sequel in five month abroad. The only challenge of this set was being able to direct in a foreign country and doing the stunts themselves to minimize the cost. A low-cost movie that made a lot of money. The perfect rip-off in others words. Not to watch if above 16 y.o

Warning: Spoilers
A moving testimony. Despite the catholic context that Latin America was forced to embrace, this sicario (hitman) will find out that spirituality might be his only way out. Hard to believe especially when the entire documentary is showing us the deep reality of Mexico regarding drugs, ransoms, kidnapping and an endless list of what brain imagination can do when the power belongs to mad forces. Listening to this guy, covered with a torturer mask, is quite creepy and yet, how can he be so regardless about life ? This guy killed so many people on command, spending hours on the phone, one word, one death and "life" goes on. "La vida no vale nada, nada vale la vida" they say... Thrilling.

A Ton of Luck (2006)
Poor story well depicted
6 January 2012
Warning: Spoilers
A poor script based on a true story, acting is almost alright and the very first bit with the hot dancing girl gives you a clear idea of what you're going to watch... On the other hand, it really depict some of the Colombian customs, with the help of the Virgin, cupidity and greed, may we all be blessed. What kind of army do they really have in Colombia ? An entire battalion with the same idea but not the same I.Q will lead this grotesque farce to a schmaltzy ending. Is it all they really want once they get rich after all ? I was expected a less superficial movie with some good acting but at the end I have to admit : it costs nothing to dream...

Awesome !!

Warning: Spoilers
Unexpected script from an alien comin' from Ireland, this is just brilliant, sarcastic, ironic, caustic, well dark and above all well true. Good heap of delirious scenes , I'm even wondering if he grows spores in his wet country, where you could buy them on a dispenser (like in Japan during the 90's) !!! If u need a medicine, you can just go f*** yourself and your brain cells will all blow up ! To win a gold metal, why don't you jump up ? Learning piano is taught in a certain way while a stupid reality-show goes on... An excellent vintage well colored always keeping the filthy background of a world full of rules, consumerism, prejudices, doctors and drug dealers, pharmacy and medicines, the relation dominant-submitted meanwhile TV is on spreading its lies to a gullible audience, everybody is clapping but no one really knows why.

Wisdom Teeth (2010)
Freaky
14 December 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Watching this short is a breath of fresh air in the wonderful world of the formatted and brainwashed MTV culture (if u can call that thing culture). A genius, a bright self-taught who believe in his difference and not in the stereotyped so call art. A non sense footage with improbable and improvised script (I suppose), 5 mn of weirdness and curiosity using fake Scaninavian language, a sheet of white paper, a black pen, a string, probably the best pot of USA and you finish with a wild type ending ! You like non sense and sarcasm ? Freaky enough to keep you high in a so little time... Only for short film diggers or just curious people !

Desert Ambush (2011 TV Movie)

Warning: Spoilers
To understand what's really going' on with some geopolitical stakes mixed against the background of hostages (just a pretext) and new concurrence on the world stage of Uranium prospectors (the Chineses). Acting is OK, we like Laurent Lucas (Calvaire) and Emile Abossolo M'bo (Colonel Aboubacar) in the roles they have. The script is easily guessable but interesting at the same time. I think it's really close to what the "Françafrique" has to deal now with the new emergent powers in place. You 've been there for a long time, enough to weave links, not enough to learn from your own mistakes apparently. But we also know that another trust territory is not necessarily what Africa needs. Cope with someone you know or trust newcomers ? The choice is yours...

A life well filled
29 November 2011
Warning: Spoilers
The story of the french adventurer Cizia Zyke, once a gambler, a scoundrel, a manipulator, a car robber, a drug smuggler or a gold digger (the list goes on) during the 80's in the middle of Australia. To know the man a bit better. His book "Oro" gave him a worldwide reputation, that's why Dominique Martial wanted to show the outlaw leading his business of gold in the dried bush of Australia where he'll have some troubles with the conservative government thereafter. Almost half hour talking about his life, how he depict the world, his traffics around the globe, his motivations, why and how ? If you liked his books, this documentary will give you more details about this crazy insane "in love for life" nomad. He had this famous sentence : "Everyone has his definition of honesty. Mine is quite large but I make do with it.".

I've liked smoking spliff with him. R.I.P my friend...

Extraterrestrial food

Warning: Spoilers
In the style of "This Is Spinal Tap," a pseudo-documentary film burlesque and improbable. Completely out of touch in the wonder-world of Hollywood California's artists, the band, victim of the industrial musical system, go on record for a so called tour in the countryside of the United States. No one really understands what happens once they turn up, they got lost in the maze of the high ! The scenario is just hilarious and Claypool, the extraterrestrial Bass-player of the legendary band "PRIMUS", gives us here a production from his planet ! An excellent unknown footage. Recommended for fans, freaks, curious of nonsense among others !
