Living with Yourself (2019)
Love Paul Rudd!
Anything with him in it offers such a treat!!! His acting skills get better with every pic he is in. Was not wald about all the hopping around in the script but the actors made it worth it.! Well worth it.
24 Hours in A&E (2011)
Binge Worthy
I enjoyed binging on this show over this past week. They really showed a good mix of health emergencies. The worker videos was a different aspect and it was great to hear things from their viewpoint. The family interviews/comments was also something other shows have not bothered to add to their documentaries. I liked looking at things from ALL the additional viewpoints.

Behind Her Eyes (2021)
Hmmmmm not sure yet
I really felt the beginning was quite slow but I liked watching Ms Brown so much I finished. The Dr acts weird so I wanted better for her. Louise deserved better after her marital letdown. At least we had time to get to know them all up to a point. Not a flop by any means.
I'm Your Woman (2020)
Baby does NOT cry through the entire movie, it is enjoyable.
I had to rate this a ten to offset the lower ratings. They obviously wanted a shoot'em up, jumping off bldgs type of movie and this has a story line you can follow and tells a lot more than it appears if action is all you want. It has action, and well-done just not non-stop. The subtely of the learning experience about the main characters must have evaded those who hated it. Well worth a couple of hours, all IMO.
Soul Surfer (2011)
Great familymovie!
I almost clicked it off because I thought it was too corny but glad I kept watching. I hope Bethany's life has been all she hoped for.
The Mothman Prophecies (2002)
Well worth my time spent watching it.
The visuals on this film were fantastic, especially toward the end. Reading negative reviews did not change my mind about watching it because I am pretty easily entertained unless a movie drags too long or too often, so it was worth exploring for me. I want to lift the ratings and found I greatly appreciate those who don't leave a 1/10 just because it was not their cup of tea or some otherreason that is purely subjective. The acting I felt was really good, nobody in this film caught my eye as being sub par. Special effects were well worth seeing and fit the story quite nicely. I even enjoyed the music all the way through. I enjoyed it enough I may watch it again since I viewed it on Prime, and I seldom do that. Give it a go and see what you think. They let you know prior to viewing that the film is based on true events, so if you are watching and remember how things came down and feel that portion is not EXACT, don't slam them for that. Nobody has promised that to begin with. Artistic liberties happen in many forms of humanity. Hoping you liked it as much as I did.
Reckoning (2019)
Had to rate it up to overcome negative reviews
I enjoyed the series, though it did not take much to make good characters go bad. Hard to discuss the higher points without giving away clues, so I make this short. Watch it yourself then form your own opinions. Two male leads do their parts very well, rest are better than given credit. I will gladly watch another season come about. I feel bad reviews are more about the cliffhanger at the end, but nearly all do this to get you to come back, so getting mad may be their loss in the end. I am willing to tune in to season 2 given same characters return.
Love on the Spectrum (2019)
Very enlightening!!!
I realize the spectrum is extremely broad but was unaware of just how broad that really is. These people look capable enough to function very well in society and I was not aware that so many could appear and speak "normally". I appreciate you raising awareness in a professional manner and not exploiting any of these fine people. One character is void of manners, but I felt that had nothing to do with her autism whatsoever. I hope she watches this and sees that if she desires to participate in the general public that others don't make a habit of belching loudly and why they do not. It would benefit her greatly to exhibit good manners is my point. I wish them all well and hope they find true love!
Madtown (2016)
Wanted to give it a 1
The acting was top notch, the story was easy to follow, even switching back and forth frompast and present! the ending, or what should have been one, absolutely made me feel the writers ran out of ideas. Maybe they expected us to create our own ending, but it destroyed all the good points they had already created. Such a letdown going immediately from a good movie into nowhere. If this is in some way a spoiler, I apologize for no warning, but for those who hate to be left hanging after you spent time being involved, then pass this up. Last two minutes ruined the entire movie. Many different ways to really complete this movie was too much effort for writwers or did a deadline force such a joke of an ending? wondering what ending those who loved it made up in their own minds? Happy everafter or the truth comes out?
Santa Clarita Diet (2017)
Loved all three seasons of this Gem of a series!
Consider me easily entertained and having a tough gut. I am not easily sickened by gore of any kind like many women might be. I glanced through the highly critical, negative reviews and frankly, I could not disagree more with any of those folks. This is exactly what I had hoped Season 3 to be and I don't feel the writers were slacking on any level. I had to give it a 10 to offset the whining by folks who need everything spelled out for them. This series allowed us to create our own scenario by not detailing every aspect of the series. If you hate blood and gore, this is not for you. If you haven't the energy or imagination to fill any gaps on your own, watch something else. Now I am geared up to rewatch the first three seasons to again lose myself in the story line that is far from reality, yet very entertaining! Give it all a watch, it won't kill you to do that, then you should get a better grip on where they were going with this storyline.
The Pardon (2013)
Although I hated the outcome.....
I really can't see any basis for a poor review on this film. The acting was all done quite well, and the cinematography did a great job of reminding us of the time frame in which the story originated (other than it being colonized). It has a sad ending because of the outcome we were told about in the beginning, but the writers did a wonderful job skipping through her sad life and bringing us in touch with the abuse she faced at such a young age. Hope enough positive reviews help to bring the rating up where it truly belongs.
