If you think you might like this movie from the trailer...go see it and ignore the bad reviews...its a good movie. If this is the worse movie you seen - you haven't seen very much. As for being predictable - easy to say that- and there aren't many movies out there thats not a bit predictable. The acting was OK, yes it really was - some of the lines they had to deliver weren't the best, but that isn't the actors fault. The thing that keep this from being really good was the directing, camera work, and editing. It really reduced the quality of the movie. Often you will see a shaking camera during a action scene - we all seen that before - but this movie takes it too a whole new level of shaking camera...who ever decided to do this and edit it so badly -needs to take the blame here on this movie for it not being what it could have. But overall for me - last night after the football game, it was an enjoyable evening at the movies.

Ever wonder who writes these reviews here? Sure don't seem like the average user to me ! I went and seen this movie last weekend. I really like the type of movie. Theatre was packed. Popcorn was great. Then the movie started. Oh Oh...maybe the movie just starts slow and it gets much better I thought....but it never does get better. One scene with a loud dog bark is the only part that would make anyone jump..more due to the loud noise. I feel like i was fooled by a great trailer...who ever did the promoting trailer - great job you sure fooled us. This was actually one of the worse movies I have seen in a long time (and I watch a lot of movies). And yes a lot of boooing occurred in the theatre. I don't do many movie reviews....but I don't want anyone to be fooled like me....be warned! this is at best a rental.

Went to see this movie with wife not knowing much about it at a sneak preview showing. I am a MMA fan, she is not. Both of us liked it very much, probably the best movie we seen this year and we go regularly.
The director did a fantastic job getting great emotion/acting out of everyone and the way it was put together was very good. Even the fighting/stunts looked very real. Just read some negative reviews by critics about Tom Hardy in this movie, but they are very much off on this one, he did a great job. There is something special about this movie and the actors in it.
Go see this movie, you will like it. Its not just a 'guy' movie, its has it all.
