There are many scenes where we busted out laughing and couldn't stop... Not sure why others give it a low rating
Melissa McCarthy's scenes at the school were excellent, and how things turned against her at the vice principal's office was executed with greatness. Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann clicked throughout.
Could have cut a few scenes and wouldn't have made a difference. Some scenes seemed like distractions for example the Jason Segel and Megan Fox scenes left me scratching my head, "what do they have to do with the story" -- seems side stories are popular in TV shows but don't always work.
Albert Brooks was excellently annoying... Tim Bagley was so funny... overall great casting.

Californication: So Here's the Thing... (2009)
evolution
with this episode it has achieved what most shows do not do or cannot do, reference itself. One of the funnier episodes with more physical comedy including Peter Fonda. Except of his own volition I can't understand why he isn't on screen more.
Thank you to everyone involved, including cast members not on this episode, for a very entertaining way to spend 28 minutes.

The Ides of March (2011)
Education in politics.
Clooney directed this film and did a halfway decent job.
There were a couple of weak spots but overall he kept up the pace and kept the story interesting.
A few truths come out in this film to remind us what politics is about: #1 loyalty is the currency of politics. #2 the longer you're involved in politics the more jaded one becomes.
One of the best lines paraphrased: we don't make mistakes, we make decisions, (no one decides to make a mistake).
Gosling was good as a young idealist, falling in love with Clooney's politics, but that changes and that is what makes the store interesting.
