Great sex, but boring story.
25 March 2005
Warning: Spoilers
I'll be honest. I got bored with the story pretty quickly on this one and ended up fast forwarding through everything but the sex scenes. It appeared to be one of those ones where the mysterious, beautiful woman walks out the beach in her wet t-shirt, stays with a bunch of people for a few days and teaches them all how to drop their inhibitions and live out their sexual fantasies. And I think there was a love story in there somewhere as well. But nobody was actually blind.

There are eight sex scenes. Seven are boy/girl. In three of those the girl is Kim Yates, in three others, it's Catalina Larranaga, and one has Nancy O'Brien. There is one girl/girl scene with Kim and Catalina. All scenes are great. They've got some really nice sets and the cinematography is excellent. This is a good movie for Kim Yates and/or Catalina Larranaga fans. You get to see a lot of them and both are gorgeous. Since Catalina plays the part of a photographer's model, there are also three non-sex scenes where Catalina shows off her body. One of those scenes also includes Kim.

This movie could have been shortened and paced better and probably kept me away from the fast forward button. But it really delivered in the sex and nudity department, so I have no problem recommending it.

Don't know what woke her up, but it sure wasn't this movie.
25 March 2005
Warning: Spoilers
Gabriella (Susan Featherly) is an innocent, naive, young girl living a simple country life with... ah, forget it! She's stupid white trash! She catches her husband cheating on her, so she leaves for LA. She picks up a hitchhiker and has sex with him. When she gets to LA, she becomes a stripper. This catches the attention of some rich guy. She ditches the hitchhiker and goes to live with the rich guy where she achieves her lifelong dream of being a trophy wife. Ten years from now Gabriella will REALLY be awakened when her sugar daddy dumps her for another 20-something bimbo.

Unfortunately, the pain I endured watching this was not adequately offset with hot sex scenes. There are seven sex scenes, two strip scenes, a nude massage scene, and a non-sex girl/girl bath scene. Five of the sex scenes are boy/girl and two are girl/girl. Only four of the sex scenes were decent. Two of them went by too quickly, and the other one consisted almost entirely of the girl's head bouncing up and down on my television screen. The only memorable one was the lesbian scene between Susan and Jeannie Millar.

The women are all beautiful. In addition to Susan and Jeannie, there is also Taimie Hannum and two other women that I didn't recognize. But what's the point of beautiful women if the director just wastes them? This wasn't a total bomb, but could have been much better. Do I recommend this? I think it all comes down to how badly you want to see Jeannie Millar, since she's super hot, but not in much stuff. If that isn't important to you, look elsewhere.

Bikini a Go Go (2004 Video)

Unscariest. Curse. Ever.
25 March 2005
Warning: Spoilers
Retromedia was firing on all cylinders with this one. This is a great cross between 1950's horror schlock parody and 21st century late night cable soft core. Brad's bikini shop mistakenly receives a tiki necklace that he decides to give to his girlfriend Janet (Beverly Lynne). When she wears the necklace though, she becomes so sex crazed that she has to jump whatever's readily available, be it male, female or herself. The intended recipients of the necklace want it back though because it's crucial to their plans to take over the world. I have no idea how they were planning on doing this though since its only power ever displayed is the one that I mentioned above.

There are seven sex scenes. Four are boy/girl, one is girl/girl, one is girl/girl/girl, and one is girl solo. All of them are of the quality that Retromedia usually delivers... good and explicit. In addition to Beverly, the cast includes Stacy Burke, Cailey Taylor, and Nikki Fritz.

I recommend this one.

I've seen infomercials that generated more heat.
25 March 2005
Warning: Spoilers
Forbidden Games is a perfect example of a soft core film where you wonder what the point of making the thing ever was. The story is as boring and unoriginal as you can get. The acting is not anything to get excited about. The best thing I can say about the cinematography and sound editing is that there aren't any instances of glaring incompetence.

But it's soft core, and all that stuff isn't supposed to matter, because we're all watching it for the great sex scenes. Right? But there are no great sex scenes! Sure it's got Amy Weber and some other attractive women, but what's the point if all they do is briefly pose for the camera and the "sex" could be more accurately described as "naked people hugging and kissing each other".

This thing was made in 1995, when people were starting to figure out how soft core movies should really be done. This is not one of the movies that they figured it out with.

Not recommended.

The good, the bad, and the naked.
25 October 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

In this early Surrender Cinema softcore offering, Kim Yates and Amy Lindsay get transported back to the old west. They become prostitutes, have sex with a priest, get thrown in jail, and escape. None of those things are actually related though.

There are seven sex scenes. Six are boy/girl and one is boy/girl/girl. All of them are good. I thought the two scenes with Kim were the best. In addition to Kim and Amy, we also get an eyeful of Amber Newman, Shannon Malone, and Taimie Hannum. Since this is a Surrender release, the only thing you hear during the sex scenes is music. The sex isn't as hot as some of Surrender's better releases, but it's much better than their worst ones.

Good movie for Lauren Hays fans.
25 September 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

Lauren Hays is a reporter who decides to do a story on a male prostitute. She goes undercover to watch him have sex with his clients. She falls in love with him, feels guilty, and reveals her true identity to him. He gets mad because she betrayed him. And this isn't hypocritical at all. I mean sure, he has sex with married women for money, but you know, she lied to him. In an unintentionally hilarious scene, he tells her (using that breathy, distraught, hurt woman voice): "Just get out!". Then they make up. The end.

There are nine sex scenes. Seven are boy/girl, one is girl/girl, and one is boy/girl/girl. Lauren is in four of the scenes. She also has a strip scene. As always, Lauren is great as are most of the other women: Brande Roderick (Miss April 2000), Taime Hannum, Nancy O'Brien, and Tara Deffenderfer. Most of the sex scenes were very good, but none of them were real standouts. Also, I thought a few of them were a little too short, or I would have given this a higher rating.

Overall, I recommend it.

Softcore, Hitchcock style!
19 September 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

In this softcore offering from Playboy/Image, the main story borrows a bit from Hitchcock's "Strangers on a Train". Two women (Tracy Ryan and Lauren Hays) who are fed up with their husbands decide (with the help a recently hired maid, Nancy O'Brien) to kill each other's significant other. That way the cops will never be able to connect either of them to the murders. Of course this will never work, because there are lots of very obvious things that would connect them to the murders. Like, maybe the fact that Tracy and her husband are living in the other couple's guest house at the time? Also, I don't think the writer thought out the story too much, because it has the lamest, most anticlimactic ending ever.

But what this movie lacks in originality and logic, it more than makes up for with some scorching hot sex scenes. There are ten scenes spread evenly from start to finish in the movie's ninety minute running time. Five are boy/girl, three are girl solo, one is girl/girl, and one is boy/girl/girl. Only the three women mentioned above participate in the sex scenes, but that's just fine, because all three are super hot and give great performances. Tracy and Lauren's masturbation scenes are incredibly good and very explicit. And I have to make special mention of the lesbian scene between Tracy and Nancy. It was basically just Tracy having a two minute orgasm.

The only criticism I have is the scene where Lauren has sex with Tracy's husband. He leaves his pants on through the whole thing. I'm sure we were supposed to assume that he had them unzipped in the front, but it looked like they were just on. It was probably supposed to make the scene "sexier", but it was kind of lame.

But overall, I strongly recommend this one.

Pleasurecraft (1999 Video)

Decent spaced themed softcore.
7 September 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

In Pleasurecraft, the crew of a spacecraft are given a mysterious cargo. The cargo is three women who are to be delivered to the leader of an enemy culture in order to achieve peace. Of course the crew falls in love with the women and vice versa and in the end they find a way to all stay together. Not very original, but it serves its purpose.

There are six sex scenes. Five are boy/girl and one is girl/girl/girl. There are also a couple of strip tease scenes. The boy/girl scenes were all good, but the lesbian scene was too tame and didn't impress me. Strip scenes rarely make an impression on me and these were no exception.

The three main leads, Brandy Davis, Amber Newman, and Taimie Hannum, were all gorgeous. Brandy and Amber had one boy/girl scene each and Taimie had two. All three were in the lesbian scene. Two other women are in the video and were attractive as well.

I don't think this video would make anyone's top ten list, and there is definitely better softcore available. However, it's cheap and delivers a reasonable amount of heat, so I don't regret buying it.

Embrace the Darkness 3 (2002 Video)

More hot sex with Jennifer the vampire.
16 August 2004
Warning: Spoilers
The following review contains spoilers.

This is the final video in the Embrace the Darkness trilogy. I thought this one was the best of the three films. We've got a new Jennifer (Brooke Larele). She's hot and I liked her better than the second Jennifer, but not as much as the first. Most of this video is the same as the other two, vampire finds victim, has sex with victim, bites victim. It isn't until the end that the plot kicks into gear and everything gets tied up. But up until then we are treated to many beautiful women and several very good sex scenes.

There are nine sex scenes. Seven are boy/girl and two are girl/girl. There are some new faces (Brooke Larele and Vanessa Lynch) as well as some old favorites (Holly Hollywood, Ava Lake, and Sasha Rochelle). All of the sex scenes go to completion and you can hear the sounds of the actors over the music. There is some really good stuff here including an excellent lesbian scene between Brooke and Sasha.

I recommend this one.

Another one of Surrender's duds.
2 August 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

A private investigator (C.C. Costigan) takes on a case involving a missing male model. It pulls her into a subculture of sex clubs, sex parties, prostitution, and rich people. In addition to C.C., there is Regina Russell and several other attractive women. Sounds like the perfect setup for a great softcore movie, right? Unfortunately, this was pathetic. What happened to the Surrender I knew and loved?

There are five sex scenes, and I am using a really liberal definition of "sex scene" here. One of them was appallingly short and two of them were just plain bad. The other two were decent, but not very memorable. Fortunately, the two decent ones were C.C. and Regina's scenes, so this thing wasn't a total waste. The longest scene lasted about four minutes and they spent most of that just removing each other's clothes. There was also a "masturbation" scene involving C.C.. It's very short and she stays in her bra and panties the whole time. Whoop dee doo.

I'm guessing there are people who will find this movie very hot. These people have probably also been in a coma since 1952. For the rest of us, this is just a cure for insomnia. I don't recommend this one.

Not bad, but not Surrender's best.
26 July 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

VOSF was actually better than I expected. It isn't in the same league as Surrender's a-list titles from the mid to late 90's, but it can still respectfully wear the softcore badge. The plot is a rip of "A Connecticut Yankee". It starts out in modern times on a video shoot for a rock star. But the director, Gabriella Hall, gets knocked on the head and wakes up in Sherwood Forest in the days of Robin Hood. The sheriff of Nottingham is gone, but his evil, horny, large breasted sister has shown up to cause problems. It's all very tongue in cheek and sufficient to justify several sex scenes.

There are eight sex scenes. Seven are boy/girl and one is girl/girl. There are also a couple of "forest strip club" scenes (don't ask). There are four women and they are all attractive and the sex scenes are all decent. But like I said above, this is a far cry from what Surrender and Cybil Richards (the director) gave us a few years earlier in titles like Femalien and Virtual Encounters.

If you're a big fan of one or more of the main actresses (Gabriella Hall, Amber Newman, or Shannan Leigh) I'd recommend this.

The Erotic Mirror (2002 Video)
6/10
What were they thinking?
15 July 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

The basic plot of this Seduction Cinema lesbian fest is this. Amy (Laurie Wallace) buys a mirror at an antique store. When she stands in front of the mirror she gets really horny. She shows the mirror to other women and they get horny too. It's sufficient to string together a bunch of softcore female masturbation and lesbian scenes.

There are five sex scenes in the movie: Laurie solo. Laurie with her doctor friend (A.J. Kahn). Laurie with her two former high school friends (Misty Mundea and Esmerelda DellaRocco). Laurie, the high school friends, and some other woman. And finally a six girl orgy. Oh, and in all of those scenes, the woman in the mirror (Darian Cane) makes some appearances. With one exception that I'll get to later, the women are all attractive to varying degrees. Laurie is a knockout. Esmerelda was decent and everyone else fell somewhere in between.

This could have been really good, but it doesn't get above okay for three reasons. First, it's slow. This thing runs for two hours, and you're twenty-five minutes in before you even get to see any female nudity. Second, the sex scenes weren't always filmed well. There's some good stuff, but a lot of the time, they drag. And third, there was Mistress Rhiannon. She is this super-deformed, huge breasted (I'm talking 60 or 70 inches here) freak with huge fish lips to boot. Let me make myself clear. She is gross!!! Fortunately she is only in one scene and doesn't have sex with anyone.

It's a shame. With the exception of mutant girl, this had a good looking cast. If the sex scenes had been filmed better, and about thirty minutes of the boring stuff was cut, this would have been a classic. As it is now, I'd only recommend this to die-hard fans of Laurie Wallace.

Phantom Love (2000)
5/10
Not very good.
14 July 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

Phantom Love is another take on the "european castle with a steamy past" story. A woman goes away on a vacation to get through a bout of writer's block. She is given a diary which chronicles the past sexual exploits of a woman who used to live in the castle. She reads the diary and we get to see the adventures played out live.

There are seven sex scenes. Six are boy/girl and one is girl/girl. None of them impressed me. The majority of each scene consisted of the participants removing each other's clothes and engaging in foreplay. To be fair, some of the foreplay was pretty good, especially in the lesbian scene. Lot's of good kissing there. But once they got to what should have been the hot and heavy action, it either wrapped up too quickly or everything was filmed almost entirely from the waist up. "Orgasms" were almost non-existent. This is softcore that you can watch with your grandmother.

There is much better stuff than this. I don't recommend this one.

Much better than I expected it to be.
6 July 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

This is a tongue in cheek, softcore version of "The Thomas Crown Affair". But this time, the art thief is a woman. Regina Pierce (C. C. Costigan) likes to steal "art" from museums for fun. She also likes to watch her errand boy and his girlfriend (Amber Newman) have sex. Two cops (some guy and Holly Sampson) start investigating the case. The guy gets romantically involved with C.C., and Holly just kind of hangs around.

Interspersed throughout this story are seven sex scenes. Six are boy/girl and one is girl/girl. Five of the scenes are nothing short of spectacular. The other two were still good. The director, Madison Monroe, really did things right and I wish more directors would film softcore the way he does. For example, during Holly's scene, there's a segment where she's on top. In most softcore, this shot would be held for fifteen seconds, at most. It this movie, the shot is held for a full minute. The camera just lingers on Holly's perfect body while she writhes in the throes of passion. There are a lot of great shots like that in this movie. Holly isn't the only hottie. All the women are beautiful. This is a Surrender title, so the sex scenes are longer than what you'd find in an Image/Playboy release. Unfortunately, that also means that music is the only thing you hear during the scenes as well.

I had low expectations for this movie, but it was really cheap and I figured if I got four decent sex scenes out of it, I'd be happy. I ended up getting a movie that put other softcore titles costing three or four times as much to shame. I can easily recommend this one.

Maximum Thrust (2003 TV Movie)
8/10
Almost as sexy as it is implausible.
28 June 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

Thrust is a good, recent softcore offering from Playboy/Image. It's not going to go down as a classic by any stretch of the imagination, but it does deliver satisfying helpings of cheesecake and sex. The story was good enough to keep me away from the fast forward button. Not because it was particularly good, but because it was bad in the right way. This movie was made to be watched in MST3K mode.

The movie actually looks pretty good. It's one of the few softcore offerings filmed in 16x9 anamorphic widescreen. There's also a 4x3 version on the disc, but it chops off the sides of the picture and has that "zoomed in" look to it. The car racing scenes are pretty good. They're not as exciting as anything you'd see in something like The Fast and The Furious, but they do look realistic.

But enough of that. There are eight sex scenes. All are boy/girl and all are good. But none are what I'd call spectacular. There are four women who participate in the sex scenes. All of them are attractive and give good performances. The sounds of the actors are always audible over the background music and all the sex scenes play out to completion.

I recommend it.

Excellent. This is great softcore.
16 June 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

This is a real softcore gem. The story centers around an office where the guys make a bet against who can get in bed with the new secretary, Daisy (Tracy Ryan). The story is decently entertaining (for a softcore film) and provides plenty of excuses for multiple sex scenes.

There are ten sex scenes. Five are boy/girl, two are girl solo, and three are girl/girl. All the women in the film are beautiful and give great performances. Some of the sex is pretty explicit too. Best scene in the film was the lesbian scene between Catalina Larranaga and Tracy Ryan in the swimming pool. Tracy gets her orgasm pretty quickly, but when it's Catalina's turn, she takes much, much longer. There are about three times that you think the scene is over, but the action just keeps going. Another scene worth mentioning is Tracy in bed trying out her new toy that her roommates gave her.

I had a couple of minor quibbles. Not all the sex scenes play out to completion, a couple of them are interrupted halfway through. Also, Susan Featherly only has one scene. I would have liked to see more of her.

But overall, this is easily a "must have" for any softcore collection.

Snoozefest.
13 June 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

Man, this movie was boring. Here's the plot (try not to get too excited now). There's this blind woman. She plays the cello on the beach. She gets hired by this ugly Russian guy to help him perform his newest concerto. He's been sitting around getting drunk since his wife died. She can't play very well so he helps her get better by having sex with prostitutes. This makes her go sleep with her roommate's boyfriend. Then he makes her have sex in front of all these people with masks. But he leaves the room before she's finished. This makes her mad, so she goes and gets eye surgery and she can see again. Then she and ugly Russian guy perform his concerto and then they have sex.

Not even the sex scenes can redeem this movie. I'm not even sure how many of them there were since they were filmed so "artsy" that half the time, I couldn't figure out if I was even watching sex. And the ones that were clearly sex scenes weren't very memorable.

I can't recommend this one at all.

Sinful Temptations (2001 Video)

Dangerous Liaisons done right.
11 June 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

Claudia (Susan Featherly) and Blake run a modeling agency. Nicole (Mia Zottoli) wants to be a model. Nicole is married. Claudia bets Blake that she can get Nicole to cheat on her husband. Does this sound familiar? Dangerous Liaisons? Cruel Intentions? Okay, the plot is a just little different, but this one's better, because unlike those movies this one has lots and lots of explicit sex.

There are ten sex scenes, which is pretty good for a running time of about 85 minutes. The first one starts up right at the opening credits and then there's a steady stream of sex scenes and female skin throughout the entire film. Eight of the scenes are boy/girl, one is boy/girl/girl, and one is girl/girl. Mia Zottoli and Susan Featherly are the main attractions in the film and have three excellent scenes each. The rest of the women are plenty nice to look at too and do a good job in their scenes.

This is easy to recommend.

Fast Lane to Vegas (2000 Video)
9/10
More interactive, road trip softcore.
10 June 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

This is the sequel to Fast Lane to Malibu and works pretty much the same as that movie did. Zach and Brian are headed to Las Vegas for Brian's wedding to Monica (Renee Rea). Along the way they encounter many opportunities to have sex with beautiful women. In Las Vegas, Monica and Ashley (Tracy Ryan) have a couple of opportunities for their own bit of fun with a hotel employee and a male stripper.

And like Fast Lane to Malibu, there are several places where the characters are faced with a decision. Through the magic of DVD technology, the viewer gets to decide what they do.

There are nine sex scenes. Five are boy/girl, two are boy/girl/girl, one is boy/girl/boy/girl, and one is girl solo. I thought all but one of the sex scenes were very good. The other one was just decent, mostly because the two girls were just phoning in their parts. The women include A list stars like Renee, Tracy, Mia Zottoli, Sasha Rochelle, and Flower Edwards. The rest of the women are plenty attractive, just not in the same league as those five. All the sex scenes play out to completion, and you can hear the sounds of the actors during the sex scenes over the music.

Cool, interactive, road trip softcore.
10 June 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

Here's the plot. Brian has a fight with his girlfriend Monica (Renee Rea). Thinking she's through with him, he agrees to go to Malibu with his friend Zach. There's a sorority party there that's supposed to be a guaranteed weekend of eager, horny women. Monica finds out and convinces her friend Ashley (Tracy Ryan) to help her chase him down so she can tell him she still loves him.

That alone probably would have been good enough to make this an above average softcore film, but the producers have also thrown in another little bit of fun. Throughout the film, there are several places where the characters are faced with a decision. The viewer gets to decide what they do. It's a good use of DVD technology and keeps things interesting.

The story provides plenty of opportunity for numerous sex scenes and ample amounts of female skin. There's a sexy hitchhiker (Stephanie Schwartz), the mechanic's horny wife (Susan Featherly), and two hot female cops (Kira Reed and Nikki Fritz). There are nine sex scenes. Five are boy/girl, one is boy/girl/boy/girl, two are girl/girl, and one is girl solo. In addition, there is a nice shower scene with Renee and a wet t-shirt contest that Renee and Tracy participate in. All the women are super hot and give great performances. The music is a little too loud, but you can still hear the sounds of the actors during the sex scenes.

Really good softcore, X-Files parody.
10 May 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

Alien Files is a fun, sex filled, softcore parody of the X-Files television series and movies like Species. It's the way the stories for all softcore should be done, because basically, it's just an entertaining vehicle for an almost non-stop parade of sex scenes and hot looking women taking of their clothes and pleasuring themselves.

A spaceship finds an unknown fungus while on a mission. The fungus is actually an alien life form in a dormant state. It infects a female member of the spaceship's crew. The alien subsists on human sexual pleasure, so it makes the female get really horny. She tears off all her clothes, smears alien fungus goo all over her body and brings herself to orgasm. The alien creates a duplicate of her body, where it runs wild on the ship, having sex with the rest of the crew and taking the form of a couple of the other female crew members along the way. When the spaceship lands back on earth, the alien escapes and two FBI agents must track it down for the rest of the movie. During all this, the alien has sex and changes female form several more times.

There are twelve sex scenes. Three are girl solo, one is girl/girl, and eight are boy/girl. However, a couple of those are pretty short and the girls keep their clothes on during the lesbian scene. The rest of the sex scenes are all good though. All the women are beautiful, with A list stars like Kira Reed, Blake Pickett, Kim Yates, and Gabriella Hall. The sounds of the actors/actresses are all audible over the music.

This is easy to recommend.

The continuing adventures of Jennifer the vampire.
7 May 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

This movie picks up right where Embrace the Darkness left off. Jennifer is now a vampire. She's also played by a different actress (Renee Rea). I liked the original Jennifer better but Renee is plenty attractive as well.

The rest of the movie plays out very much like the first one did. Jennifer meets two other vampires. The girl vampire (Catalina Larranaga) is bad, but the guy vampire is good. Most of the movie follows the same formula. Vampire gets hungry. Vampire finds a mortal who looks tasty. Vampire has sex with mortal. Vampire feeds on mortal. These vampires are all wussies though. They only kill a couple of people in the entire movie. Obviously, the story wasn't too memorable, but it held my interest enough to keep my finger off the fast forward button. There's also some pretty cool special effects used throughout.

There are nine sex scenes. Six are boy/girl. One is girl solo. One is girl/girl. One is guy/girl/girl. For the most part, the sex scenes were good and decently explicit. They all play out to completion and the actors and actresses are always audible over the background music.

The women are all attractive and deliver good performances. There are five of them that participate in the sex scenes.

There was definitely room for improvement. Katie Lohmann's masturbation scene could have been done better and Catalina Larranaga should have removed her clothes for the lesbian scene.

It's no better or worse than the first movie. If you liked that one, you'll probably be happy with this one.

Vinyl Dolls (2002 Video)

Good sex. Boring story. Horrible music.
2 May 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

Somebody really needed to give the producers of this video a reality check before they made it. And maybe a hearing check as well. The story in this video is as boring and predictable as you can get and really just takes away from valuable sex time. The producers should have known this and reacted appropriately by giving us either a more interesting story, or less story and more sex. I would have gone with the latter. And since the story revolves around an all-girl band, there are several musical segments. And what songs do our girls lipsynch to during these segments? Why, it's all the junk that they usually play during the sex scenes from previous Image/Playboy softcore releases. Wheee!

Fortunately, the people who authored the DVD took pity on the poor viewer. There are about two dozen chapter stops. So all you need to do is learn which ones take you directly to the beginning of each sex scene and you won't have to suffer any on repeated viewings.

There are eight sex scenes. Seven are boy/girl, and one is girl solo. Fortunately, the producers did a really good job on all of them. They are all full sex scenes, that is, none of them are annoyingly interrupted halfway through. The sounds of the actors/actresses are audible over the background music. The five women who participate in the sex scenes are all attractive and put in some great performances. It's pretty explicit stuff that pushes to the limits of softcore. Unfortunately, there's no lesbian scene which is really unforgivable in a movie about an all girl rock band when you think about it.

Since the sex is so good, I still recommend this one. But don't expect anything in this movie to hold your interest between the sex scenes.

Very bizarre, sexy and entertaining.

Warning: Spoilers

This is a big change from what I typically see in softcore movies. But I liked it. If you have to come up with some story line to link together a bunch of hot sex scenes, you might as well have fun with it. But unlike a lot of over-the-top softcore "comedies" (mostly from the John Bacchus division of Seduction Cinema) this movie never forgets what the viewer wants to see. This movie is quality sex and T&A from start to finish. There are roughly nine sex scenes. Four are boy/girl, two are girl/girl, one is girl solo, one is two girls solo, and one is boy/girl/girl. I use the word roughly, because some of the scenes are pretty short.

The women are all beautiful and super hot. This is an A list cast all the way. Maria Ford owned this movie. She was in three scenes that were as good as anything she's ever done. And when she wasn't participating in sex scenes, the producers made the excellent decision to have her running around in the skimpiest outfits available. Juli, Doria, Amber Newman, Nancy O'Brien, and Stephanee LaFleur all did great as well. Doria and Amber were in one of the lesbian scenes. Juli and Nancy were in the other one. Amber Newman also had an excellent masturbation scene.

However, I can't say I was completely blown away by it. As I said above, some of the sex scenes are short. Too short for me. And although there was plenty of skin on display between the sex scenes, skin alone does not make a great softcore movie.

I still recommend it though.

Perfectly Legal (2002 Video)

Good, but not perfect.

Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

Lauren Hays plays a hot divorce attorney who seems to do her job well, but is pretty bad at managing the financial stuff. But she's hot. She represents a woman whose ex-husband has gotten famous selling "better sex" books and videos. But the woman claims he stole the ideas from her. It's your standard courtroom drama stuff, but with a huge dash of stupidity. The "brilliant" way that Lauren eventually wins the case would've been lame even in a Scooby Doo cartoon.

The story is plenty sufficient to justify eight sex scenes. Seven are boy/girl and one is girl solo (Lauren). Lauren is also in two of the other scenes. Her scenes are the best, but the other five are good as well. All are full sex scenes that get taken to completion. The actors and actresses are always audible without the music covering everything up. The women have some great orgasms in this one.

In addition to Lauren, there are five other women: Beverly Lynne, Alison Miller, Stephanie Swift, Andrea St. James, and Kylie Wyote (get it, "Kylie Wyote", "Wile E. Coyote"). All are attractive and give good performances. Monique Parent makes a couple of cameo appearances but doesn't participate in any sex scenes.

But it could have been better. This video makes the same mistake that's too common in softcore. It gets off to a great start, then loses its momentum. The first six sex scenes all occur during the first hour of the video, one every ten minutes. But in the remaining forty minutes, there are only two more scenes. There's also no lesbian scene.
