Everything is spot on but one thing...
3 May 2024
The Power Armour.... The actual design on it looks good, they got the look of it and you can see the dirt and rust built up, general weathering, but when it's in motion and you see the limbs move and the joints interact it feels and looks so cheap. Feet wobble, the body doesn't sit snug, arms look too elongated, and weight..... like how heavy it SHOULD be, is an issue! It sounds heavy, and the sound dept did a good job, but it looks like it weighs nothing. It looks like a cosplay costume made of foam and made to look cool.

This worries me because someone, actually a lot of people, at some stage in its production, said "yes that looks authentic and cool". It...made...it...far.

And that's my issue with this show, everything is perfect, but that godaaaaamn power armour suit. It means Amazon is ok with this. They're ok with that level of garbage. God help Warhammer.

Apparat score with beautiful moments
13 March 2017
I was about to skim over this movie but ran out of stuff to watch, so I gave it a go. I am so glad I did. It truly is a beautiful movie chocked full of slow touching moments accompanied by a touching, thought- provoking score. Give it 30 minutes and you will be hooked. Nicolas and Kristen, whom I normally give an "ok", deliver a beautiful performance.

Imagine The Predator arrived in the Medieval times...
20 February 2017
First off, this is a well put together fan movie. I'd say predator fans would be satisfied. It plays very safe; so it does rip off the previous movie's though. However, for a fan movie, this is incredibly well made. The acting is solid and the script is good. The action is well directed and the score and effects are in line. I actually want this to be made into a proper Hollywood movie!

I walked out
27 October 2012
This film is an embarrassment to the Silent Hill franchise and to Sean Bean and Radha Mitchell's career. It was messy, so messy I had to leave the theater. The acting was atrocious and Mr Beans accent was as fake as the laughable CGI. The plot was predictable and you could tell the clichés where coming a mile off. Its a shame too because I really wanted this to be a strong follow up to the 2006 entry which did the genre and franchise justice. Silent Hill, as a setting, has the potential to show the audience a truly disturbing world; a world where we do not want to go however I'd actually rather go to Silent Hill myself than sit through this muck. 1/10
