Doctor Who: Sleep No More (2015)
Can't see a blasted thing
I think it could have been a pretty good episode; I rather liked the switches of POV.
However, I absolutely hate when episodes are filmed in the dark (possibly so deficiencies are masked), so nothing can actually be seen except flashing torches and an occasional terrified face. I might as well have been listening to a radio episode for all the good the screen was to me.
The story would have got about an 8, but the filming was no higher than a 2, so I averaged them. Very disappointing.
Clara and the Doctor were well-acted, as usual, but I do find her character to be a bit of a Mary Sue. She can do anything, and always saves the day.
Lucifer: Super Bad Boyfriend (2019)
Good episode, terrible music
Really good episode, lots of good character development.
I do have one comment about the music. Why do the directors/etc always seem to think that the actors can't act? That we need to have some "relevant" song going over the non-dialogue scenes, just so we can understand what the characters are going through?
