All the Light We Cannot See (2023)
I Didn't Read the Book but Knew It Had to Be Better
You know the saying book was better than the movie? How about never reading the book but automatically knowing it was better than the movie.
The evil comic book Nazis had me chuckling, it was over the top. Everyone gets slapped. Everyone yells man it was hilarious. The insanely stupid accents, where everyone understood each other and spoke in British accents was extremely confusing. How did they communicate with one and the other? Couldn't they at least change the accents based on the language they were speaking at the time???
Every line was melodramatic schmutz.
There was a forced kiss for no reason and actually detracted from the story, The weird dialogue bothered me because everyone spoke in exposition and schmutz.
I was irked at what she did at the end because so many people died for it. It felt extremely clichéd.
I did the disservice of reading the changes made because if the movie was accurate to the book. What I saw made me think this could not have won a Pulitzer Prize. The book ending was far superior, and the ending made sense, albeit sadder, but Netflix couldn't allow that.
Hugh Laurie (spelling) was good, but Mark Ruffalo seemed to be radioing it in (get it).
Just disappointed felt like a young adult movie when it could have been a good representation of what someone in that situation could go through.

Bro
This show is actually kinda sick. It's pretty funny. Episodes are short but sweet.
For Fans of Nathan For You / American Vandal/ This Is America / The Rehearsal.
