It's all about effective time management

Warning: Spoilers
I literally just got back from my trip to NYC to see this film at the Tribeca Film Festival.

I went in knowing it would be interesting, but I had no idea how amazed I would be. The story is so detailed and character oriented that you are drawn into the world and become attached to these characters. All in 19 minutes. And it is a beautiful artistic world.

Sean Ellis and Sean Biggerstaff were both on hand for the Q&A session following the showing. Sean Ellis revealed the plans for the full length feature, saying that the short itself will be placed in the film intact and the rest of the movie will happen before and after it. He joked that he was lucky that he already has a 20-minute trailer for the film.

The film was amazing and I can't wait to see it as a full length feature.

Total Eclipse (1995)

Hauntingly moving story, highly recommended.

First off, this movie definitely deserves it's 'R' rating. So if you're a young Leo fan, don't bother. You're too young to see it and far too young to understand it.

Onto the review. I was deeply moved by this movie. I thought Leo DiCaprio (who I usually despise) was excellent in his role. He played the part of bisexual Arthur Rimbaud very well. Very believable. David Thewlis' role was also very well acted (and quite impressive) as Paul Verlaine.

Most have said it's not an accurate portrayal of what really went on....well that's what the disclaimer on the beginning of the movie states. If you missed it, don't complain.

Basically, it will move you (unless you have no emotion at all), make you think, and perhaps shock you a bit (mainly Paul's behavior toward his wife was a bit shocking). But it is a beautifully artistic film and I urge fans of this genre to experience it.

Peter Pan (2003)

Great film

I may be the only person here who thinks this movie was great, but that's alright by me.

I thought the performances were flawless. Jeremy Sumpter and Rachel Hurd-Wood were adorable in their roles. Jason Isaacs as Hook was also great. With Hook as the depressed and alone pirate, who is jealous of Peter, Isaacs was dead on.

The supporting cast of children were remarkable. I had read that the majority of them had no acting experience and was scared by this. But they pulled it off marvelously, with honest performances from each and every one of them.

Ludivine Sagnier was just beautiful as Tinkerbell. As was Olivia Williams as Mrs. Darling.

I have nothing bad to say about this movie. From the opening eccentric re-telling of Cinderella by Wendy and her brothers, to the end narration, this film was stunningly beautiful and emotionally moving.

Don't miss this movie. You'll regret it.

Fantastic!

I'm so sick of seeing negative reviews for this film! I rented it last month and it is a brilliant film. I loved every moment of it.

The actors portyrals were on spot, and the cast itself was masterfully picked. Ewan McGregor, as the drugged-out rocker Curt Wild, and Jonathon Rhys-Meyers, as the glitter-covered Brian Slade aka Maxwell Demon, light up the screen. Toni Collette as Mandy Slade nails the transplanted American in 1970's London. Christian Bale personally blew me away as Arthur Stewart. Excellent. And Eddie Izzard as Jerry Devine was a fine choice. Perfect for the ambitious agent.

The music, itself, really drives the film. Covers abound throughout and are wonderfully done.

Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this movie and I highly reccommend it.

I bow down to you, Todd Haynes, for bringing us such a wonderful, moving film.
