First of all this is a Spanish language movie, so unless you're bi-lingual you might miss some of the dialogue. I read an article where there were a lot of people saying they had to stop half way through because it was too scary, so naturally, I had to watch it. Boy, were they wrong. It's also a netflix movie and since I cut ties with them and joined the Hulu bandwagon, I had to find it on my own. Easy to do. It starts out pretty quickly and builds from there. There wasn't much in the way of jump scares or slasher type horror, it is more cerebral. It's what isn't shown that get's the story flowing. I don't like leaving spoilers so I won't here. I will say that the children actors, the sisters and brother were all really good. The friend Rosa was not near as good an actor as the family members. They did a great job making the story that much more believable. You can actually see the fear they have and you get drawn into believing that they are terrified. It's supposed to be based on actual events, taken from the responding detectives notes on the case. There is a lot of conjecture to be sure, but all in all it was an enjoyable movie. It had a few moments that give you the chills but no real jump out your chairs issues. If you are looking for a kill 'em all type of movie, keep looking. If you want something to sit back and watch that will give you the creeps, this is probably going to do it for you. I can't stress how much the kids acting made this movie work. They have some bright futures in acting.

I don't know where the hater gets his idea that this is garbage nor do I know how this can be called a sample of GOP politicking since the show was around before the last election. Some people just have to find a way to politicize even the most absurd things I guess. All I do know, for sure, is this is one great episode after another. Gary, very ably played by Henry Zebrowski makes this show pop with his perfect timing and delivery. Claude, is another great character. He's Gary's intern and he is constantly undermining Gary and sucking up to Satan, to no avail. Satan by the way is played by Matt Servitto . He does a superb job. There are several episodes that stand out and I honestly can't think of a miss in any of them. The only problem I have with this show is that it only runs for roughly 12 minutes. I could absolutely watch this show everyday and never get bored with it. I eagerly await the next season.

If you have absolutely nothing else to do, at all, why not give this movie a try. The acting is pretty good, the ladies are attractive and the men are good looking if you still count Bo as a boy. Other than that, this movie is a waste. Its a first person, found footage type that has been played out for years. I only relay this because I wish I had known it before I started watching. All the reviews I read about this say how bad it is and what a waste of time it is but I tend to not believe critics. I should have where this movie is concerned. You have to wait until there is 15 minutes of the movie left before it gets going. Everything else is buildup, just pointless banter really. Once you get to the point where it can be called a "horror" movie, you barely want to try to finish. I love terrible movies, especially terrible horror movies but this movie is too much of a bad thing.
