What Is a Woman? (2022)
Not hard to answer at all.
In a literal sense sure, but life isn't black or white, the simple question like most questions can evoke different responses based on context. Literally it's easy to answer, if that's all you're asking, but is he asking that, who knows, he sin't clear on either. To some what is a woman may make them think on a more philosophical level, ie, a woman is empowerment! Nurturing, caring, etc. It's not so simple when you break it down. Maybe the person asking the question should specify in what context they mean first. My first response to that question would have been just that, do you mean a literal definition, or what does a woman represent to you. If you're simply asked what is a woman under oath, you'd clarify it's context exactly how I've done so. This documentary didn't need to exist. You can apply the same principle to any question.
The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window (2022)
Awful, comedy or not.
If it's meant to be serious then it fails miserably as it has about 10 plot holes and ludicrous setups. And if it's meant to be a parody then shouldn't it actually be funny? Because it fails at that too. Just one example how on earth did an 8 year old clean up blood and move 120lbs body within 10 minutes of the cops showing up??? Why on earth would you take your child to sit in with a serial killer let alone leave the room without her, as if any of that is even appropriate regardless of it being take your kids to work day. I could go on and on.
And Just Like That...: Some of My Best Friends (2021)
Did anything happen in this episode??
Utterly dull show. They just love to kill off characters and ruin their bond we as an audience came to love over the years, as a device for their partners to date again.
Friends: The Reunion (2021)
The host was terrible...
Other than that it was excellent. Loved every moment, some great stories and the best choice over doing an actual episode reunion which would be terrible.
Army of the Dead (2021)
So much potential
It didn't need to be 2 hours and 30 minutes. Cut one hour of emotional drama and boring scenes. Like they'd have all this time to get into deep conversation, just get on with the mission!!! And the ending, dear god, if the big dude hadn't spent 8 minutes looking at his daughter instead of jumping on the helicopter they would have made it. This movie had all the potential for greatness and it all just fell flat.
Nobody (2021)
John Wick with a different actor
That's it. Mindless over the top action. A one time watch never to be seen again film.
Run Hide Fight (2020)
A film literally made by the far right.
Aside from it being produced by The Daily Wire, a far right news company, it's just not a very good movie with a poor climax.
Freaky (2020)
Very funny
Great teen comedy horror. Vince Vaughn is hilarious. If you like Dale and Tucker you'll like this.
Square One (2019)
The truth finally revealed.
Excellent well researched documentary, with nothing but facts. Anyone citing this as propaganda is ill informed and a genuine moron who would rather listen to heresy over facts and who can never admit when they're wrong.
The Lucky One (2012)
Awful.
Zero emotion omitted by either actor, way too clean cut with a total over reaction by the woman towards the end. Generic film with generic characters and music. Very flat
Sleeping with the Enemy (1991)
Great thriller!
Awesome early 90s thriller. A lesson to anyone, don't marry too soon, get to know the person first. Not a huge Julia Roberts fan, but she's great in this. The husband is insane, and she's faked her own death to escape, what more could you ask for.
Fear (1996)
The dad is only smart one
Reece Witherspoon and the woman playing her stepmom are so moronic it's painful to watch. They couldn't be any dumber. This was a decent movie but almost ruined by how stupid these female characters were.
The Boat (2018)
Not bad, not great.
Kept me intrigued until the end. Though the ending was a little odd.
The Outsider (2020)
Hmm it was all going so well
First two episodes were excellent. A genuinely intriguing murder mystery, and then just fell into supernatural nonsense we've seen over and over again. It basically turned into an episode of the x files. Shame as I was hoping for some amazing riddle to be solved through detective work.
Jay and Silent Bob Reboot (2019)
I turned it off.
Was this meant to be a comedy?? The first hour I watched was awful total disappointment compared to the original. Kevin Smith stated that nobody asked for this film, and he should of listened.
Cats (2019)
Absolutely awful
Total embarrassment, just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. I can drive with my feet, doesn't mean it's a good idea.
Gisaengchung (2019)
Technically great, but not a good thriller.
Looks beautifully shot. But the story is slow and just doesn't progress to anything significant or surprising.
Tully (2018)
Utterly dull
This film may as well be a documentary about the most normal situation in life, a mother who is pregnant, nothing happens. Absolutely boring. There's certainly no mystery nor comedy.
Terminator: Dark Fate (2019)
Pointless and poorly executed.
CGI to the max, was liking watching a video game for half the film with characters flying around the screen and over the top stunts. Nothing compared to T1 and T2. Even the music was diabolical, generic and barely stood out. The character or Grace was excellent and Sarah and Arnold were ok. Offered nothing new ans just rehashed T1 and T2 in a very poor manor. I literally couldn't wait for it to end. This makes the other sequels look good, and they were terrible.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019)
It was ok
Started off well and felt like it was building to something exciting in that breaking bad way, but then just went nowhere. It was like a 2 hour slow burning episode of BB, not a movie. Nice to know what happened to Jesse, but it could have been told in 5 minutes.
The Conners (2018)
Terrible
Without Roseanne this show is nothing, you removed the very core of the show, and the values it had. The comedy is terrible and I'm shocked the other cast members have the nerve to continue.
Nikki Glaser: Bangin' (2019)
I couldn't bare more than a few minutes
She's just another lame female comic like Sarah Silverman and Amy Schumer all doing the same sexually crass jokes for shock value that gets pumped out of Hollywood every 5 years to never be seen again. Rude explicit jokes are fine just come up with something far more original, like almost every other male comic.
Booksmart (2019)
Superbad RIP OFF!
Superbad rip off with 3 laugh out loud moments!.... with almost identical premise. Two high school grads one nice, one fat and obnoxious taking place over the course of a single night to get to a party. The fat one even kinda looks like Seths character from Superbad, and just found out it's actually Jonah Hill's real life sister, how much more evidence do you need?? The only difference between these two films, is Superbad was totally original, and absolutely hilarious, and didn't require a token black, gay, trans to pander to this generation. Well made, but lets be real, when you have a great script, good actors, and experienced crew its not hard to direct.
Good Boys (2019)
Bearable but AWFUL
Total disappointment, kids dropping the f bomb is funny for about 2 minutes, not 90. After the so called hilarious highway scene, which wasn't, I lost all hope and started skipping through the film. If you love Superbad, then you'll hate this. An extremely watered down version, I'm surprised it's R rated even. Just watch the trailer, that's the entire film and the extent of anything funny.
The Dead Don't Die (2019)
A zombie drama, not horror, not thriller
If you want a good zombie film, this isn't it. There are certain requirements a zombie film should have and this has none. I get they were going for something different, but that's like saying you're going on the latest rollercoaster, only this one is new and different and moves at 4 miles an hour so you can better see the views. That's not what people want, expect or should be subjected to. Good luck with this forgetful film.
